>> Hey, everyone. I'm Molly Wood, and welcome to the CNET Mailbag. The show where we take your feedback about the stuff we do here at CNET. Speaking of feeds, it turns out the problem with our RSS Feeds at CNET TV was not just a Google Reader issue, which was a bummer 'cause then it got a lot more complicated. Like a lot more complicated. Here's a look at the bug that's currently open as we try to deal with this issue. If I printed it out, I think it would be at least a 900-page conversation. To paraphrase, we've investigated runtime errors between the database and the XML that our content publishing platforms API serves. We thought maybe Google Reader was randomly renaming our Note ID value, which it was. But that wasn't totally it. Now, we're pretty sure it's related to how we set our socket timeout. So we think we might have fixed it, but please let us know if anything else goes wrong. It really helps to keep the bugs alive. You know what I'm saying? Scott wrote in with a nice little softball for us. "Is all the software at CNET Download.com safe and virus free? I downloaded the Rocket Doc and don't know for sure if it's safe." Scott, do you work at Download.com? Are you just trying to get me to plug this? Anyway, yes, as a matter of fact. All downloads at Download.com are safe and spyware free. That's kind of thing, in fact. Download away. Next up, Jonathan wrote in about one of our design changes. "Please don't get rid of the CNET Top Five white theme. That one looked great. And this black one just looks, well, dirty and gothish. Please bring the white back." Actually, Jonathan, you think that's Goth? You should see Tom on the weekends. He's very Goth. Here we've got two emails that could just be related. I am not Dr. Chan [assumed spelling] wrote this, "This week's episodes of "Loaded" do not run on my Nokia N95. Previous episodes played fine. Why do you guys hate me? Oh Jonathan, we don't hate you. Although then, JKF385 said, "Natalie Delaconte [assumed spelling] of "Loaded" always mispronounces Nokia. I'm dying to know why. Any ideas?" Maybe she hates you. In fact I did see some other complaints about "Loaded" downloads not playing properly, and I will alert the authorities. Actually, it looks like another theme might be developing this week. Brian Tong is pretty. Sarah [assumed spelling] wrote in, "I just love CNET so much. I also wanted to tell you how cute Brian Tong is. I love him. Is he single? I would love to date him." And Michael said, "Kudos for making Brian Tong a full-time member of the staff. You needed some human eye candy to balance all the flashy gadgets you review." Sorry folks, I'm thinking someone else may have caught his eye.
>> I'm Kara Tsuboi.
>> Wow, girl. You look fine. Come on this way. Go. Go.
>> Reporting for CNET News.com.
>> And finally, Shoehow [assumed spelling] says, "What? When I'm watching Tom's Top Five new search term today, I noticed that in the end of the video, it says, 'CNET Top Five's most wanted gadget.' What's going on? Are you guys drowned in alcohol or something? Please explain yourselves." Huh? Oh, hi there. It's fixed. [hic] That's it for this week, everyone. Keep the feedback coming. Mailbag@cnet.com or send me a postcard. 235 Second Street, San Francisco, California. 94105. 94105. I love you guys. I love you guys. I gotta go.
