Mac Studio Gets an Upgrade With M2 Max and M2 Ultra Chips
Speaker 1: Users love Mac Studio for its incredible performance and connectivity. And today both get even better. First Mac Studio is getting the immensely capable M two max and it's a performance powerhouse. Developers can build new versions of apps at warp speed with up to 25% faster performance than M one max. Motion graphics designers using After Effects can render up to 50% faster than M one Max [00:00:30] Max Studio with M two Max is also four times faster than the most powerful Intel base to iMac. And that's not all. Today we're adding one final chip to the M two family, taking Mac performance to New Heights. Introducing M two Ultra. It is a monster of a chip connecting two M two max Dye. Together with our groundbreaking ultra fusion architecture, it doubles the performance of M two max. The 24 [00:01:00] core CPU in M two Ultra delivers 20% faster performance than M one Ultra, and it's 76 Core GPU is 30% faster than M one Ultra.
Speaker 1: Finally, the 32 Corolla engine is 40% faster. And M two Ultra can support an enormous 192 gigabytes of unified memory, which is 50% more than M one Ultra enabling it to do things other chips just can't do. [00:01:30] For example, in a single system, it can train massive ML workloads like large transformer models that the most powerful discreet GPU can't even process because it runs out of memory. So that's M two Ultra, our largest and most capable chip ever with a mighty CPU U and GPU U combined with massive memory bandwidth in a single S O C, it's the most powerful chip ever created for a personal computer. And today [00:02:00] we're bringing M two Ultra to Mac Studio, taking performance even further. Compared to Mac Studio with M one Ultra colorist using Da Vinci Resolve, we'll see up to 50% faster video processing than before. 3D artists using Octane can now render up to three times faster. And with M two Ultras media engine video editors can play back a mind-blowing 22 streams of eight K ProRes video. [00:02:30] No other computer in the world comes close. Max Studio with M two Ultra is also a whopping six times faster than the most powerful Intel based iMac. M two Max and M two Ultra take Max Studio performance to a whole new level for connectivity. Mac Studio now has higher bandwidth, H D M I, enabling up to eight K resolution and 240 hertz frame rates. And with M two Ultra,
Speaker 2: It can support [00:03:00] an incredible six pro display XDR driving over 100 million pixels. So that's the Num Mac Studio. It's a performance powerhouse, taking demanding workflows to the next level.
