Hi.
I'm Seth Rosenblatt for CNET here at CES 2013.
And we're taking a look at the Lowe's home integrated system called Iris, which includes a integrated light bulb that allows complete control from your smartphone or your computer.
It allows you to avoid having to use plugs.
You don't have to do any special work to you home system.
It's a standard plug on the bottom.
And actually, the Iris system itself is pretty cool.
It
comes with systems for allowing your pet to control the pet door and that will let you know when the pet is in the house or out of the house.
There's a security system and there is a comfort and control system which includes temperature control, light controls and so on.
The light bulbs will be available in a few months.
Lowe's has not yet decided on a price point for it but the full kits are available for $300, reduced kits are available for $179 and there's no long-term contract.
You have a month-to-month fee,
and then when you wanna bail, you can get out.
That's pretty cool.
At CES 2013, I'm Seth Rosenblatt.
