>>If you're sick of the shallow, tinny audio quality from your laptop speakers but don't want to invest in a full-piece, 3-piece computer set, the Logitech Z205 laptop speakers might be your ideal solution. I'm Justin Yu, Associate Editor for CNET.com where we're going to take a quick look at the Logitech Z205 laptop speakers. It's very easy to setup since it draws power and audio from the same USB port. There's no drivers or installation discs. All you have to do is plug it into your computer and you're set to go. There's even a spring-loaded hinge on the bottom here so you can attach it to the top of your display and keep in mind that $40 speakers aren't going to put out the most impressive sound but we were generally satisfied with the audio quality and you can certainly crank up the volume much higher than you would on your laptop.
The speakers obviously don't have a subwoofer so bass heavy tracks can reach distortion at high volumes but DVD audio and more balanced music genres like jazz or rock sound great. You can find plenty more details in our full review on CNET.com but that's going to do it for me. I'm Justin Yu this is the Logitech Z205 portable speaker and that sounds good to me.
