I'm Nicole Lee, senior associate editor of CNET.com, and this is a first look at the LG Neon II.
It is LG's latest messaging phone for AT&T.
On the front, there is a pretty nice and colorful 2.4-inch display.
Underneath the display, you do get 2 touch sensitive soft keys.
You also get a unique thumb key here, the XSA joystick.
You also get the usual send and end power keys as well as the clear key.
There's also a phone dialog that brings up the phone dial application.
The display is only touch sensitive for the phone dialer.
No other phone function is accessible beyond the touchscreen.
We like using the virtual number key pad and we found it to be quite intuitive to use, but we just wish the whole phone could be touch sensitive, not just the phone dialer.
On the side, there is the headset jack as well as the volume locker.
On other side, you do get the micro SD card slot, the camera key as well as the multitasking key.
On the top is the charger jack.
On the back is the 2-mega pixel camera as well as the self-portrait mirror.
When you turn the phone sideways and slide it up, you will find full four-row QWERTY keyboard.
The keys are raised above the surface, so quite easy to text as well.
The LG Neon II has 3G as well as GPS with AT&T navigator.
Other features include stereo Bluetooth as well as access AT&T broadband services like AT&T mobile music as well AT&T video.
The LG Neon II is quite affordable at only $30 with a new 2-year service agreement with AT&T.
