Lenovo's Entry-Level IdeaPad Gaming 3 Laptop Got a High-End Redesign
Laptops
Speaker 1: These are Lenovo's latest entry level gaming laptops, the idea pad gaming three and three. I,
Speaker 1: They are part of the company's many announcements for mobile world Congress. This year. Now Lenovo's Legion gaming line is where you'll find all of the highest performance components and best features, but they can also top $3,000 with the idea of [00:00:30] pad gaming. Three, the starting prices are more reasonable at below a thousand dollars. Now past versions of this laptop line looked sort of generic gaming laptop, but you could get good components inside for the money. The display, the design and the extra features are where things typically get knocked down to save costs. But Lenovo keeps a lot intact here. These new models look like the higher end Legion laptops. Now just without the Legion branding. [00:01:00] And actually the branding in general is pretty minimal on these. The new design moves the display forward on the body, and you have this back with large cooling vents, and most of the ports are on this rear panel, which makes it really convenient and clean for a desk setup.
Speaker 1: You'll be able to get the laptops with either AMD rise in 6,000 H or Intel Chlor I seven H series processors. That's why you have the three and three. I naming the I is [00:01:30] for Intel and they'll also come in 15.6 inch and 16 inch sizes. The 15 inch is a 16 nine display with a 25 60 by 1440 re while the 16 inch is 25, 60 by 1600 with a 16, 10 aspect ratio. And they both have refresh rates up to 165 Hertz refresh rates have been getting faster on budget systems like these. So it's nice to see it get to 1 65 here. [00:02:00] Also on the 16 inch, the brightness is rated at 500 nets and it has a 100% SRG B color gamut coverage. So of the two, you're going to get a better picture on the 16 inch, regardless of screen size, though, they'll start with an Invidia GForce RTX 30 50 graphics card, and they'll go up to an R E X 30 60.
Speaker 1: But if you go with an AMD CPU, it looks like [00:02:30] the RTX 30, 50 ti will be the top GPU available for it. Uh, Intel configurations will also include the option for Intel's own arc, a three 70 M graphics, which, uh, that option in early leaked performances shows it's close to a GForce GTX 1650 super card. The 15 inch will be available in black or white. The black model's keyboard has a white back light. While the [00:03:00] white versions keyboard will have a blue back light. Intel configurations will start at $990 in April and the AMD configurations arrive in may starting at $930. The 16 version will only come in black and again, its keyboard will have a white back light light, but Lenovo said an optional four zone RGB backlight keyboard will be available. If you wanna add a splash of color while you're gaming. Now the 16 inch idea pad gaming three, [00:03:30] I will start at 1490 while the AMD version will be around $1,140. Both are expect acted in Jude.
