Lenovo lines up the ThinkPad Stack for modular PC accessories
Computer Accessories
Lenovo has some space saving accessories for your laptop.
I'm Dan Ackerman at CES 2015, and this is the Lenovo ThinkPad Stack.
It is a stack of accessories that'll work with your ThinkPad, or frankly, any other laptop or desktop, and you can pick and choose and design your own sort of stack of add ons that don't take up a lot of desktop space because they all.
Fit together.
They actually stack with these little pins magnetically.
What you have here is a power bank to get some extra power for your laptop, and then you have got an external hard drive.
A one-terra byte hard drive, and they set on top of each other like that.
This guy is an access point, so you plug this in and it will take the internet signal that your laptop is using and project it out as a WiFi access point so other devices can connect to it.
And then finally we have a Bluetooth speaker.
And you can choose, you know, one or two or three or all four.
Stack them up in different orders.
They pass.
Power through, through these little pins right here, so you only have to have one power connection for them if you have them all stacked up.
Now, these guys are gonna be sold together and separately as a full bunch, it's gonna be in the U.S., 319, available sometime in mid-April of this year, or separately you could buy the Bluetooth speaker for $89.
You can buy the Power Bank for $49 and then they're going to sell the one terabyte hard drive and the access point together for 199 and the nice thing is they look like they're designed to work with ThinkPads, sure, but you can actually just plug them into any laptop.
They charge by Micro-USB and again the speaker connects via Bluetooth.
I'm Dan Ackerman, and that is the Lenovo ThinkPad Stack.
