Hi.
I'm Scott (Stein?) and this is the new Mac book.
I'm just kidding.
It's the Lenovo ideapad U400 but doesn't look like a Mac book?
I mean that's what a lot of people are gonna think.
I'm sure Lenovo knows that but that's not such a bad thing.
In fact this one of the nicest ideapads that I've seen in quite sometime.
Now if you remember the ideapad U300S that's an ultra book that we reviewed last year.
This is not an ultra book.
This is a regular old laptop but it still has some really nice features, full of surprise that probably you wanna consider it including a slow DVD drive, MD graphics, 750 Gigabyte hard drive, 6 gigs of RAM and a (??) processor and it's you know it's thin as a Mac book Pro.
Does it do anything special?
Does it fly through the air?
Does it do any magical laptop things.
No.
It's basic Windows 7 laptop aside from that but you know in fact that it has bluetooth and it has all those basic features that you're looking for.
Doesn't have a higher screen.
It doesn't have any SSD storage or anything like that.
No bluray but if you're looking for a laptop like this that is less money than a Mac Book Pro 13 inch and also has an MD graphics well then you may wanna take a look.
The battery life will gonna have to wait and see how the full review goes but it maybe a little bit of a let down if you're expecting something like 6 hours just didn't get on our test.
There's a 14 inch laptop but it kinda looks like a 13 inch.
It also as (??) very nice keyboard, somewhat Apple like and a huge multi touch track pad.
Where we seen that before?
It also has a slightly book like design with sharpen edges that's different and a nice solid metal field.
So again if you're looking for a non ultra book laptop that has a distinctly Apple flavor check out the Lenovo ideapad U400.
It's a really nice package fixed price.
