>> If you don't have an application in your actual dock, it can take a few seconds to launch your Finder window, navigate through the list of apps and finally select the app you're looking for. You could do a spotlight search by pressing command Space but then you've got to search through every document application and file with the word Photoshop in it. And spotlight can be slow at some times. At the end of the day, you're still wasting precious valuable time. With the application Quicksilver, you can launch apps as quickly as you could think of them. Here's how. First, head over to the developer's website at www.blacktree.com. Download the latest version and install the application. Now to launch Quicksilver press Control Space. All you have to do is type the first few letters of the application's name in this case we're gonna use Photoshop and there you have it, hit Enter and your application should launch instantly. Now, Quicksilver can do a whole lot more but for now you can be content with launching your apps super fast. I'm Jeff Bakalar and this has been the Quick Tips.
