With the advent of the ebook reader and the tablets, we've all but lost the noble art of reading in the bath.
But it's coming back in a big way with this, the Kobo Aura H2O.
It's a waterproof ebook reader.
Let's investigate.
So the H2O has a certification of IP67 which means you can submerge it underwater for up to 1 meter and for up to 30 minutes.
It knows when it's underwater, and when it has been submerged, it will sense that and you'll get this warning on screen which asks you very politely if you wouldn't mind just towelling it off.
Waterproofing aside this has a front lit 8 inch screen for reading in the dark.
The screen measures 6.8 inches with a resolution of 1430x1080 pixels.
And you get 4 Gigabytes of storage space.
It's also going to last for up to 2 months on it's battery.
You don't have to wait long before you can start reading in the bath.
This thing comes out on October the 1st worldwide.
It's gonna cost 179 Euros, $179, or 139 English Pounds.
So this seems like a pretty solid ebook reader, with the waterproof features just being an added bonus.
So really, what's not to like?
