Klipsch HD Theater 500
>> Jeff: Hey what's going on everyone, I'm Jeff Bakalar for CNET.com today we're checking out the Klipsch HD Theater 500. Now the
HD Theater 500 is another 5.1 surround-sound speaker system that has 100 watt subwoofer and satellites that feature horn loaded tweeters.
Our only complaint about the speakers are the rear spring loaded clips. For $600 we definitely expect a better connection interface
for the kind of speaker system we're dealing with here. Now the system is covered in a high-gloss black finish that we liked although
they happen to be fingerprint magnets, you're not gonna want to touch these too much. You'll also definitely want to apply the
included rubber feet to each of the satellites. At first we didn't attach them and the speakers actually started to move around when
we started playing sound through them. It's something you're definitely gonna want to take care of before you start using them.
Overall sound quality was great with the 500 it performed equally solid during our movie and music testing. I'm Jeff Bakalar and
this has been the Klipsch HD Theater 500.
