If you're a snorer, or you sleep with a snorer, you know that the best solution to solve snoring problems is to give them a gentle or not so gentle nudge.
Now this leap mask kinda does it for you.
It's the hub no sleep mask and it's there to help reduce snoring.
The app basically monitors your sleeping by listening to the sounds you make when you sleep.
If it determines that you're snoring, then it sends a signal to the mask to take care of the rest.
Now the mask does one of two things if it does detect that you're snoring.
It has a gyroscope in there so if it feels that you're in the wrong position, it'll slightly vibrate to kind of give you a gentle nudge for you to then Shift positions which might help with the snoring.
Now if that doesn't work, it will apply pressure to your airwaves to help keep them open.
Now how does this work?
Well I had to try it to find out.
This [UNKNOWN] mask itself was pretty comfortable but what was kind of uncomfortable was that it goes over your nose.
And it has a rubbery kind of smell, kind of like a scuba mask.
And I'm just not used to having something over my nose when I sleep, so this for me might be hard.
The vibrations were strong enough for me to wake up or at least kind of shift positions in my sleep.
But I will say that the blocking of the airways was a little bit weird because it kind of prevented me from exhaling.
Even though I could still breathe fairly easily.
The app also monitors your sleepover time and you can input other factors like alcohol or exercise to see how that influenced your snoring.
Now this might not be the solution for me just because I don't snore, or at least I don't think I do.
But if your condition is serious enough, maybe you would consider wearing this over your nostrils.
It's on sale starting now on Indiegogo, and it cost $179.
