>> Anngie Dehoyos: Hey. Welcome to Crossfade TV. I'm Anngie Dehoyos. And these are our picks, taken straight from our site, music.download.com. My pick this week is a hot one, or at least I think it's pretty hot. They go by the name Hot Chip, and they recently released their third album called "Made in the Dark."

"Made in the Dark" is a follow up to the Mercury Music Prize nominated album "The Warning." And like its previous effort, the new album proves Hot Chip has the skills to create pop music that's quirky yet solid for the dance floor. Check out their lead single "Ready for the Floor."

You'll also find other musical styles throughout the album from electropop, techno, to a couple of slow piano ballads, like the album's title track, "Made in the Dark."

>> Peter Gavin: Hey. This is Peter Gavin, and this week I'm really into Kate Nash and her debut album, "Made of Bricks."

She hit number one in the UK last year, and now she's spreading like pancakes here in the US. She's often compared to Lily Allen, not only because she's British, but she also writes really catchy songs about being pissed off at guys, but then finding the brighter side of the situation. Check out her hit single, "Foundations."

We have three songs from "Made of Bricks" on our site, so check out Kate Nash. And by the way, if you haven't heard Lily Allen, we have her full album streamed free on our site as well.
>> Kurt: Hi. I'm Kurt, and my pick this week is the LA-based Cambodian pop band, Dengue Fever, who just released their third album called "Venus on Earth." We just posted a free download from it on our site. The song is called "Silver Driver."

Lead singer Chhom Nimol was born and raised in Cambodia, and sings in both English and Khmer. The music, however, mixes Cambodian pop with Western styles, like indie rock, lounge, and psychedelic.

Indie pop bands looking for something fresh should definitely give a close listen to Dengue Fever. It's a band you'll probably hear a lot more about this year. But also keep your eyes out for a documentary film on the band. It's making the round of festivals. It's called "Sleepwalking through the Mekong."
