-Hola mis amigos, de la manzana bite. Me llamo es Brian Tong. We're bilingual here. I'm back and a whole lot browner, but it's all the good stuff and bad stuff inside the apple, so let's get the show. Now, an Apple hardware news, it was this show that told you new iMacs were expected to be coming by the end of this month or the first week May. Now, I still don't have a specific date because soft roll outs can be subject to change, but 9 to 5 Mac is reporting constraint and tighten supplies specifically with the iMac from retailers with no ETA on current models and it's a sign that it's coming soon, real soon. And, if you've been wondering what's happening with the Mac Pro Line. Another report says the big A is toying with a redesign for a narrower desktop at only 5 inches wide and a few inches shorter at 19 inches tall. Now, this would allow Mac Pros to fit on a standard server rack. We haven't seen a physical redesign in almost 8 years and we all know, every inch counts to save space under my desk. Now for all you hyped up for the next iPhone 5, Concord Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who has had a reputable Intel in the past says the iPhone 5 will boast the same A5 processor as the iPad. It'll support and 8-megapixel camera on the back and improved antenna design and it'll be a world phone with CDMA and GSM support. Reuters then chimed in and say production will begin in either July or August and it'll hit a September release time. Now, one thing else agree on is the iPhone 5 will keep a very similar look and feel to the iPhone 4, which means we can probably keep running the same iPhone videos that you see each week for another full year. Okay, not really, but "man, where would we be without all that good-looking video?" Trust me, its way better than chat to me holding an iPhone. Apple also confirms speculations that during their earnings call that they will not be adopting the current generation of LTE 4G chips in its iPhones because it would mean a redesign of the entire hardware and Apple is not willing to do that for this generation. So, if you're holding onto the idea of a 4G iPhone 5, you might wanna let it go right now. Now, we also mentioned Apple's recent earnings call, and you can bet, they are still bringing home the bacon. The big manzana reported revenues of 24.67 billion dollars for the quarter, an 83% increase from a year ago, and the biggest non-holiday quarter in Apple's history. Sales of 3.76 million MACs, a 28% increase, an 18.65 million iPhones, 113% increase drove the gravy train. Now, iPad sold 4.69 million units, but it was a significantly lower number than the over 6 million analyst had predicted. Not like 4.6 million iPads is a bad number. Now, it shows is that the MAC and iPhone divisions are still going strong and iPads haven't really eaten in the MAC sales and that iTunes store, 1.4 billion dollars in revenue. Alright, enough of the number crunching. Let's check out the how to for hunting down that lost album art. -Hey, I'm Donald Bell and today I'm going to show you the easiest, fastest way to fill in missing album art in your iTunes library. We all have sounds in our collection that may appear on your iPad, your iPhone give you that lean generic album cover. The problem is, you can never remember what songs those were when you sit back at your computer and you wanna go fix them. So, here's the trick. Go the File Menu in iTunes and select New Smart Playlist. For the first condition, make sure that the Media Kind is set to Music. Next, create a rule where the Has Artwork condition is set to false. Hit Okay and now you've got a listing of all the songs in your library that are missing album art. Now, to fix up these songs and give them album art, first, see if iTunes can do it automatically. Select all the tracts in the list, hit it to the Advanced Menu and select Get Artwork. Itunes will scan your library and fill in all the artwork that it can and automatically remove those songs from this list. For the song that are left over, you can right click on any tract, select get info and drag a Google image search result for the artwork into the artwork tab. But doing this for each individual song is kind of tedious. Instead, sort by album and select all the albums tracts at once, and then, write click to get info. Drag the artwork out of your browser, hit okay, and you can update all the songs at once. Now, one last trick, if all the songs that are left over on your list are just are a random assortment of freebie downloads, DJ mixes and other odds and ends, you just kill them all with one fun image and be done with it. Do a select all on all the remaining songs in your playlist, write click to get info, and drag any image you like into the artwork square. It might not be the perfect match for that song, but at least that will rid of the generic iTunes artwork. From CNET.com, I'm Donald Bell. -Thanks for that Donald. Now, and more stories. If you guys don't like people and know where you are, you might be a little freaked out when 2 researchers revealed that all of your locations data is being tracked on a file that lives on your i-device and your computer in the backup files in iTunes. The internet was set afire with this news and no, Apple's not collecting this data directly yet, but it's a very accessible file. The researchers even built an app that will load and pull out all that info to show off the visualization of where you've been. Wow, I swear I've haven't spent that much time at the Gold club, Gold's Gym. Yeah, I meant Gold's Gym. Alright, but if this worries you because location data is becoming a more and more sense of issue, you can encrypt your backups through iTunes like clicking on your device within iTunes and then check encrypt iPhone backup under the options area. Alright, let's check out Quick Bytes. Still waiting in the line for iPad 2 people? Well, Apple has dropped their estimated shipping times to 1 to 2 weeks in some countries. This includes the United States Canada, Mexico, Australia, Europe, and New Zealand. 9 to 5 Mac also reports Apple is giving high level IOS gaming companies access of prototypes of the faster iPhone 5 we've been talking about. The device looks just like the iPhone 4 and we all know how big games became a part of the iPhone. Iworks and MobileMe rebates recently expired and it might signal the impending update of Apple's revamp MobileMe service. There hasn't been any chatter about an update at iWorks, but we are keeping an eye out on it and in our feel good story, an app on the iPod touch called Dash is hoping doctors at the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai to perform knee surgeries. The iPod Touch is able to precise measurements that would normally have to be eyeballed by surgeons. The app is free to download, but I would recommend it's probably not a good idea to try this one out at home. Alright, that's gonna do it for us. Send us your e-mails at the applebytes@cnet.com <mailto:applebytes@cnet.com>. I'm Brian Tong. Thanks for watching and we'll see you guys next week for an otro mordisco dela manzana.
