HTC announces the RE camera and Desire Eye smartphone
Hi, I'm Scott Stein and HTC has gotten into the camera game.
Not just with a stand-alone camera but with a new phone that has a built-in camera.
First, the HTC RE is a Go Pro competitor.
It's waterproof one-meter deep and has up to 120 gigabytes of storage if you put in the SD card.
It shoots video, looks a bit like an asthma inhaler and you hold it in your hand, shoot video, slo-mo, and photos.
It shoots pictures up to 16 megapixel.
And it looks pretty interesting.
It's coming out this fall for $199 in the U.S. The HTC Desire Eye makes it's camera moves in the front facing camera department with a 13 megapixel camera and the ability to shoot front and back photos simultaneously.

I'm Scott Stein.
