If you haven't already heard, it's probably already too late.
On Friday, after HP announcements that it was going to discontinue its touchpad tablet, the company announced an inventory fire sell.
Touchpad began liquidating at retails around the country for just $99 for the 16 gigabyte version and $149 for the 32 gigabyte version.
The nation's largest electronics retailer Best Buy reversed itself when it decided to join the sell rather than just return shipments back to HP.
There may still be touchpads available by early indication, say supplies have run out and HP may not have endeared itself to retailers who are trying to sell touchpads against $500 android tablets.
When iPhone 4 was announced last year, Gizmodo and its parent Company Gawker stole much of the keynote thunder by leaking screen shots and videos
of the device.
More than a year later, prosecutors file charges against the 2 men accused of selling the device to Gawker, but not against Gawker itself.
Now, Apple may file a civil suit and early announced that shows that they may have a case against Gawker for violating various California laws.
Additionally, Apple will able to use evidence gathered in the criminal case for their suit.
So far, there hasn't been any official word from Apple about a civil case.
Skype has announced it has acquired GroupMe for undisclosed amount.
Group me is the popular group messaging service
and the acquisition follows Facebook's recent purchase of the Beluga messaging service.
The fruit of that buy was the recently launched Facebook messenger app.
The GroupMe purchased comes as Skype itself is being purchased by Microsoft.
Research in motion is launching BlackBerry App World 3.0.
The new app store comes with a new interface where users can download games, apps, and themes.
New features also include My World storage to keep your download and apps sync across devices.
So far, there is not indication
that there will be a music service with the app store launch.
Finally, Google has announced it will be rolling out verified profiles for it Google Plus social networking service.
Verified users will see a badge appear on their page confirming if there are celebrities, public figure, a person with a "large number of undefined circles.
Those are your headlines for today.
