The smart ovens that I've tested recently haven't been really that smart.
Sure they have apps and WiFi connections.
But they don't do a good job of talking to other smart home devices.
This Jenn-Air Double Wall Oven however, Changes the smart oven game.
This double oven works with Nest, the smart learning thermostat that gets to know you and your habits so it can adjust your temperature in your house accordingly.
You can use the app that pairs with the Gen Air oven to set rules so that when the oven reaches a certain temperature the Nest will in turn, turn down the temperature of your house.
It might not seem like much, but this is a really intuitive skill for an oven to have.
Especially if you've ever been in the kitchen with the oven going and things get hot.
To have the temperature automatically decrease a little bit.
Is a big deal.
Another really cool feature with this Jenn-Air Oven is it's culinary center which essentially allows the oven to pick the best cook settings for the dish that you're cooking based on options that you pick right on the oven itself.
Including pan type Type of meat or dish.
And cook of meat.
And honestly, it cooks a little better than us.
When we did some test on roast chicken.
The Generator W11 isn't exactly perfect though.
Some of the bake test were a little lack less.
After there wasn't really even baking across double pans of biscuits but overall this is a really great product that bodes well for the future of smart cooking.
