Hands-on with Lenovo's throwback ThinkPad Twist laptop
Rick Brown for CNET.
We're here at Lenovo's New York launch event for the Windows 8 laptops.
Here we've got the ThinkPad Edge Twist.
This is a kind of an old school convertible laptop, it is a touchscreen running Windows 8. You'd see the screen twist around here.
Lies down flat in tablet mode.
There's a few of the most Lenovo has going on with this thing.
It has this what's called Lenovo's stand mode, that's kind of familiar.
You can also set up
like this in tent mode, have the standard touch pad here as well as the pointing stick.
Got audio, USB 3, Ethernet, SD card, mini HD mic display port, as well as another USB 3, and that's power.
So this model here is running a core i7 chip and this is full blown Windows 8 on the system.
So, hopefully we'll get one in the review soon and it's gonna launch on October 26th along Windows 8. I'm Rick Brown, this is the Lenovo ThinkPad Edge Twist.
