>> Although there are few personal favorites of mine missing from this collaboration, overall it's still a very solid album from beginning to end and a great alternative to most of the boring repetitive stuff you hear on the radio today.
>> Hey, what's up everyone, I'm Anngie Dehoyos, and my pick for this week is the goddess of electro known as the Miss Kittin. She's got a new album out called BatBox and the song to check out is the record's title track.

>> Miss Kittin is widely known for electroclash DJ sets, as well as lending her lovely french look that was the electro stellar like Tiga and Felix Da Housecat. On the new album you won't hear a lot of electro pop, but you will get a chance to hear the experimental and advent rock-side of Miss Kittin. Check out the song Wash and Dry, a dark and cinematic ballad, which almost sounds like a song by Blonde Redhead.

>> The new album is out on her label called Nobody's Bizzness and it's a great release to pick up if you're a fan of Goldfrapp, The Knife and Fischerspooner.
>> Hey this is Peter Gavin, and my pick this week is Herbie Hancock. He just won the Album of the Year Grammy for his Joni Mitchell tribute Album River: The Joni Letters.

>> It's the first time in over forty years that a jazz artist has won Album of the Year. So, many were surprised including Herbie himself. But with the all-star line-up of Herbie Hancock, Joni Mitchell and a number of guest vocalists including Norah Jones, you could say it's more of a pop Album. Check out the classic ballad River featuring Corinne Bailey Rae.
