This is Gramofon by Fon you connect it to your stereo or A/V receiver.
it's big hook is that it supports Spotify Connect.
What is Spotify Connect?
Spotify Connect is a proprietary system for Spotify premium users.
It lets you use your phone or tablet as a remote while the hardware in this case the Gramofon.
Pulls music directly from Spotify servers online then plays it through an attached speaker.
Speakers not included.
Any other music features?
Yep.
If you've got multiple Gramofons around the house, you could send Spotify music to each one.
Gramofon also supports the unspectacular Wahwah app for Gramofon.
Don't bother with that one.
Anything else?
Yes.
Gramophone can also act as an access point or a standard to bring WiFi to areas to your house that aren't connected well.
That's kind of insane.
Should I buy it?
If you're a Spotify premium user, it's a great purchase with very good audio quality.
It's way better than Bluetooth.
It's dead simple to set up and use.
On top of that, the closest Sonos device like this costs about seven times as much as Gramophone.
A future update to Gramophone promises more music services and syncs multi-room audio.
