Google the vote
It's Tuesday, November 2nd.
I'm Natalie Del Conte and it's time to get loaded.
Google wants to help you vote today when you search for polling place or where to vote.
You will see a search box that helps you find not only your polling place, but also your candidates in your local election office.
This feature was built by Google Election Center and it also works in your mobile at m.google.com/elections.
Mac users Sophos unveil the free anti-virus software for you.
It detects and blocks malware on your machine as well as malware that was written for Windows that Mac users can spread over USB drives or e-mail.
While Mac users do like to think that they're immune to your viruses, that is an entirely true, it's rare, but if you want to run anti-virus just to be safe, now Sophos Anti-Virus 7.2 from Mac is an option, and you don't have to pay big bucks to get an Android phone.
T-mobile announced the $10 Comet and Android-
powered Smartphone.
It has a 2.8-inch lo-res touchscreen, but it runs on a pretty fast HSPA connection with Wi-Fi.
It will cost $10 out of pocket, though there is a $50 mail and rebate.
T-mobile also announced the LG Optimus T, the Motorola Defy and the Motorola Charm, all Android phones for less $100.
Hotmail users can now add mail from other accounts to their inbox, even Gmail.
This means mail from other services can be read and sent from within Hotmail.
Of course Microsoft allows this in Outlook.
Google StreetView has re-launched in Germany with people and houses blurred out.
Germans really did not like having their homes publicly viewable on the Interment, so they may just think about it with Google.
The new version has hundred of thousands of Germans opting out of the images and having their homes blurred.
The blurring is only in the town of Oberstaufen, I'm not sure if I'm saying that right, but Google will expand it to the rest of the country.
And this should get you into the holiday spirit.
Martha Stewart
has an iPad app that will help to make cookies.
It's designed to give the home baker tools such as recipes, shopping list, how-to's and more.
The app costs $799, which is a lot for something that you can always just google, but this is more of the elegance cost money.
Those are your headlines for today.
I'll see you tomorrow.
I'm Natalie Del Conte for cnet.com, and you've just been loaded.
