Google Home hits the road with HyundaiAt CES 2017, you can control your car with your voice.
[MUSIC] Google Home can now take it's show on the road with the Hyundai Blue Link service you can actually use the always listening system in home to control your car. Ask home to search for a local restaurant. Find the one you want, and then you can actually send those directions to the nav system in your Hyundai. The Home can even lock and unlock your car, it can start your engine, even flash the lights. So Starting your car and unlocking your doors with your voice might give cause for concern but Blue Link will ask for a PIN first. That's a cool thoughtful addition and it's one of the first PIN systems we've seen on Google Home. We've been waiting for Google Home to expand their repertoire at CES. They can already do a few things in your smart home, but we're hoping it will grow in include additional smart home devices. Like locks and garage doors. And security measures like PINs could be a key piece that will help Google take that next step.
