Snapchat doesn't make it easy for new users and even some experienced Snapchatters may not be aware of certain features.
So here are four tips every Snapchatter should know about.
When you're taking a selfie snap, press and hold on your face.
Snapchat will scan your face and then offer a selection of fun filters to play around with.
See on you like?
Simply press the capture button to take the picture, or hold it down for a video.

You could always add Emojis to videos, but now you can set them to move along with a face or anything else you pin it to.
Once you've recorded a video tap the emoji icon at the top of the previous screen, and select the one you want to use.
You can then resize the emoji by pinching it, next long press on it until the video pauses and drag it to the item you want it to follow.

Emojis will appear next to the names of your friends.
Now you may think that these are random but they actually have a hidden meaning.
Head to settings scroll down to additional services and click on manage.
Followed by friends emojis.
Here you will see a list of what all those emojis mean.
Clicking on any of the emojis listed will then let you change it to a different one

You can use Snapchat to text and even call friends.
On the friends page, swipe from left to right on the friend you would like to chat with.
From this menu you can then message that friend, send them a picture, and even launch a video or a voice call.
