First look: Black Shark 2 Pro impresses with performance

[MUSIC] The Black Shark 2 Pro has landed at CES. It's filled with high-end Android performance and insanely ridiculous gaming phone features. Let's take a look. [MUSIC] The Black Shark 2 Pro was originally announced in July of 2019. But it will be available in 2020 in the US for $599. Pretty much in every single way the black dark 2 probe is exactly the same as the black dark 2. However, the black dark 2 Pro has a Snapdragon 855 plus processor, the fastest processor you can find on Android. Versus the Snapdragon 835 on the black dark to the Snapdragon 855 plus processor brings 15% faster graphics and CPU clock speeds up to 2.96 gigahertz at the 835 only goes up to 2.84 gigahertz whack wow. This phone with that new processor puts it at the top of the Android Performance food chain right next to the 1+ 70 and other gaming phones like the Asus rMv phone two, and the new beer red magic three. The PC processor also means you'll get the absolute best performance over long bouts of gaming. Keep this baby cool during all your gaming it implemented direct touch multi layer liquid cooling system. Jeremy who makes the phone claims that this cooling system can reduce the temperature the CPU work team degrees. On the front of the Black Star two is a six point three nine inch an OLED display. Made by Samsung. Now, it only has a 60 hertz refresh rate. Now I see that because other gaming phones like the Asus rfv phone to having 120 hertz refresh rate screen. However, just not a lot of games on the Google Play store that take advantage of that refresh rate. The Black Duck 2 Pro has a 240 hertz touch report rate screen That means 240 times per second, it updates where my fingers are touching it. This could lead to a lower latency, which is really good for video games. In fact, Jeremy says that this phone has a response speed of 34.7 milliseconds, and that would put it ahead of any of its gaming phone competitive. It is. Another cool feature is called master touch two point O. Basically, it lets you resize the touch areas on the left and right side of the screen. I can also determine how much pressure I have to have to actually hit that. So what all this means is I can resize the tech areas, but I can also determine how hard I have to push the screen to actually make a button work. This is great for different games, but sometimes I want to have a light touch when I play a game. Other times you're gonna want to be able to pound that screen like a madman. [INAUDIBLE] and this'll let me do it. Hey, like the original BlackBerry phone, there is a designated slider to bring you into what's called Shark Space, and what that is is it's gaming mode, and that clears the phone's memory, optimizes it's performance and minimizes disruptions while you play the game. To get outta that mode, you just Switching back. And one of my favorite features about blackshark are all the accessories you can see here. I have a left and right gamepad a little bit like the Nintendo Switch. It's like a playlist and they also have a deep catalogue of accessories you get online. So if you already have a black shirt, this is a great way to update and you can still use your accessories from the other phone. And if you don't, there's so many ways to play this.
