I am holding right here, Apple's latest iPad.
And if you think it looks like all the other 9.7 inch iPads that we bought over the years, well, it's not.
This is one with a 10.2 inch screen.
You know what that means?
That means for the first time ever, Apple is not selling a new 9.7 inch iPad.
That's the classic original screen size that launched the product all those years ago.
Now that is gone.
You just have the 10.2 inch version.
Fortunately, it comes in at the same price .329 for the WiFi 32 gig entry level model.
So now there is another cool surprise here.
It is not that they have moved to USB-C no, it's still got the lightning connector right here.
But Over here you see these three little dots?
Well, that's the smart connector.
That's something found on iPad Pro models that let you hook up a handful of very cool very high end accessories.
Like for example, the Smart Keyboard which you can't use with the regular iPad you used to need a pro for it.
Well now you take the three dots on this Line it up with the three dots here.
And then through a little bit of magnetism and origami.
You can fold it down like this, you now have something that is much more laptop life than the iPad was on its own.
Sure you could still,l you know, hook up a Bluetooth keyboard or something to it, but i love the immediate gratification ratifications.
Of getting this smart connector going and getting this very high end keyboard that also acts as a cover on it as well.
So of course it's compatible like other reason iPads with the first and Apple pencil you pair by plugging into the lightning port then you can charge it with its own little adapter, but it certainly feels a heck of a lot more like the iPad pro than last year's model or the model before that.
Unless you really need the bigger screens and more powerful process of the pro, now you have even less reason to spend more when you could spend less and get the very capable 10.2 infusion with the 810 fusion chip, which again is another jump over what we've seen previously.
And of course, this is a great machine for playing all those new Apple Arcade games because with the new version of iPadOS.
You can actually sync up an Xbox or Playstation controller, a lot of other types of controllers too.
And all of those Apple arcade games work great on this screen.
So why spend more on an iPad Pro when you can spend less on the new iPad and get just about everything you need.
This guy again starts at.
329 for the new 10.2-inch Apple iPad.
