A brand new Android tablet even -- new Android phones and the music app on there isn't Google's idea -- to go -- the extra set of downloading. Google's like music beta enabled version of music app which is to me -- -- he's selling point for by -- -- get in the entry. Or -- tablet. -- -- I mean you know -- the -- they're that good friend fragmentation -- -- mess with us we'll let this fragmentation I think it's a little bit more malicious -- that they where -- that manufacture wants to be able to make some of that money and prioritize their own services over Google's. Apple fragmentation of the ecosystem in terms of yet I mean -- -- -- have iron fist and Apple happens on every level of the you know we make the hardware. So there's that I think the most by the Kindle fire is emulate. The people in your family who aren't tech savvy and would otherwise. Doesn't -- tablet okay and then the previous one stabilizers and a color rate for 199 this new one is to forging content. Aren't so -- tablet pursues. Kindle fire. What to it's so fifty dollars more is -- -- personals are worth it knows more. Yes on -- definitely worth fifty dollars -- -- a -- extra money goes towards. Cooler design goes towards. At twice the ram so -- getting a -- -- here instead of 512 and you're getting twice the storage you can sixteen gigs of storage. Instead of eight gigs -- plus you're getting a micro SD slot card slot seat in side of the stuff and expand storage by another. 32 gigs hypothetically -- so yeah I think in might be -- -- tablet sense -- extra value. Absolutely worth the extra fifty dollars. That said I feel like. As far as entertainment proposition goes. Not as immediately entertaining. As what -- Amazon Kindle fire offers the last -- Because. Just have less content less content I'm Barnes & Noble is its. And it's supplementing -- with third party apps C gaming Hulu plus or Netflix I think even out of the box -- Kindle has as well Kindle has I think it optionally install it in -- story you can get all that stuff last year -- The App Store for Kindle. Already. Out of the gate is in the -- of the -- -- tablet has. And there's something to the fact that. Barnes & Noble makes them money ultimately by selling new book and magazine content and so that smooth the way its front center here on the device. They want you to buy it they -- -- get addicted to it like you would with any kind of tablet experience but really where they make their money is. You know its own digital books. Parents -- our questions so they are the underdog though they need to be war really really really want to -- this is if you don't. -- -- He -- I'm surprised. Like I understand that it's worth more money spec wise I feel like that -- -- days. You and I care but most -- probably will overlook that has specs. Specs respects and interest -- mine gets Fuzzy if you're not a techie when you look at specs very. It is cooler looking now like I can imagine happening Kindle fire and some with -- tablet comes up -- -- common nuisance -- -- not that it doesn't have that little loopy thing that port that's for adding new charms you know if you want to little. Price maybe maybe not would have made it a slight difference but they needed. In of the ecosystem is really hard to come by when they're starting where they are. Ready to diligently working on that from time -- be -- deserved to win at that because they've invested so much -- it. You know what else Amazon has that we haven't mentioned here as it was on -- Yet current it is you know and you get a free month of that when -- by -- and things so right out of the -- -- can get all of the instant. Amazon instant video prime video content -- is kind of cool. -- I love it. -- it makes me spend more money for share content com. All right so one last thing on to mention about the fire as the Kindle fire so -- -- enough com color of course has been famously rooted. Men use says is cheap tablet you buy. Hackers all over. -- the Kindle fire has no. Reportedly been -- as well after would have -- visiting and after few days but it you know it's not that's present. This -- -- -- in theory yet there's a setting in the Kindle fire where it's like the install from unknown sources setting. But I am you know if you type in. You know Android -- -- like the the actual -- You're the you're off the Google Android App Store when -- it'll take you to Amazon -- -- App Store. And there's like no -- cover around it and even I tried to -- a direct address -- -- a PK. I could probably download install I wasn't able to I I tried even going through with swipe -- -- famously has like a direct. It won't deviate then a PK so there the keyboard -- software but even they recognize that I wasn't on. An Android phone so they wouldn't send -- -- him. So and they yet -- enterprising in total the you know and -- what everyone on this. And the thing that is interesting to me about the Kindle fire routing. Milestone -- that I think people will be disappointed. You know like. If you get a full version of -- -- on here it's just gonna be able to you can build a have a standard experience. By uniting the cameras and acumen GPS so maps kind of -- -- gaining. Miss some meetings and greater it is really tailored for it's it's kind of like putting it in a dark power -- -- -- to connect to. And I think it it goes against all the work that Amazon did it deliberately make this so. I closed in unified and easy to use Flickr a specific purpose like if you want. If you want. You think they did this would appear that it had I mean I've seen people who are really skilled at doing. Yeah illustrations on the iPad with -- spouses and different different tools that that's that's not something you make with your -- there. I am skeptical as well that's a I can barely make stick figures on these types of applications at -- -- -- -- but I can only make stick figures in Photoshop on my computer or with the pen and Paper so. That all foreign to me. All these apps work with Adobe is cloud service where you can have upload the stuff and have creative collaborative. -- book.
