Says the one that could send SMS says I I believe ray are two random people potentially costing you money here who knows what. No maybe that the people who created this had a -- service that you had paper -- Sony whatever steering I mean even if it's -- When you picture of a pink bunny -- the fact that there. And in the week. You know all of you know who -- who plan to do about com. Malicious after the market and in Google basically. Putting out an -- That will help people. To combat this. And then having. That turned on its head and having a true -- version of the muted but. The truth Altima Trojan hear it it coming. And the -- of security and basically. Doing the exact opposite of what people expected to do it reminds me of the spamming technique where you just send -- -- two million people and you. Tell which he notices work by who actually -- -- subscribe button. Oh yeah -- This is kind of same thing yet and click announce this crap you have -- -- subscribe. Fil a me what the -- Google. An eighth -- -- tool actually isn't it from what I understand it. Not an actual download from the market -- -- they get pushed year -- automatically. These didn't. Actually even be looking for this. Anyway -- Yet -- ghoul would install it presumably without -- even knowing. Clean up your stuff and potentially even delete after that so. At anywhere -- don't do this. So what I'm wondering is if the store was more restrictive. -- -- still have these issues for example. If it was Amazon's App Store which we've talked about several times and how they will actually look at all apps. Maybe these problems wouldn't -- -- alleviated. 01 of the issue that that came up with Amazon's market was last week after the in the opposite of that everyone's a little concerned. When it leaked that the apps in the Amazon. Market would come with a DRM. That would be that -- if the rumors were. You'd have to have the injury market installed on your phone and that it would -- to the -- would have to be in Constant Contact with. Amazon's DRM servers in order to work. These -- the rumors. Now we're floating around and I inside you know users and in the gift immediately your display in collided after being Constant Contact at this week too restrictive DRM what -- -- -- signal. And then that run my app. This week there is actually a little bit more confirmation. -- -- like Howell the DRM in the Amazon App Store will work. Once that comes on line. To clear things up essentially what's gonna happen is. You download to wrap. And the first time you run the app -- actually paying. The Amazon App Store servers and download. Essentially a token or. Is it -- is basically the localized authorization. And it will store that locally on the device. Two basically that Vietnam that it's okay to -- now that. Presumably it at certain points. You know that this token ought to be like you know. If refresh store -- -- -- and indicated this probably happened automatically. But it does seem like it's gonna be as restrictive. Or -- there's data intensive as if some people. Were concerned as if we initially -- it was going to be. Damn that sounds like it could definitely good development here. You know definitely overall gives you. You know what I I was just talking about and with this view of some of how low the Amazon App Store is viewing. You know the world of Mandarin and there are trying to move towards. Canada Apple methodology more of -- the Google methodology. And -- -- vision of how that's gonna -- does that connect create more opportunities because people who haven't put out apps on the Android platform. Because -- scarier. You know concerns about. The our grammar and other issues rules -- like okay now here's a very sort of business friendly place -- -- -- -- You know what -- app -- -- or is this actually. No it's a guess -- -- that problem. -- -- -- -- As far -- like you know -- larger developers. You know you're -- PDAs. Nearly -- -- in the in the market of games and whatnot. You know that that's gonna it's gonna be very. It's gonna help them come and help them to to know that you know they'll be able to track -- their investment in the market and mean get a return on it. Without having to worry about you know people just you know strip in there -- -- And you know put them on servers and carrying them. And I think -- the -- and on the consumer end it'll be pretty. Pretty transparent I mean things like that that token authentication to be from the and happen automatically -- in the background. Without you. You know having to do anything with -- and I mean it's not really anything new because there are actually are ready apps in the market. Or actually even third party -- -- of the market. That do something similar the example that I ran into all the time is the slight data. And basically. In order to download their app. You have to. After installing. -- to log -- to the data. And basically had -- authenticate to keep you from you know moving. Is do you -- -- PK on if the card -- President from doing anything they don't going to do yet. So new fragmentation problems on one end. Solutions for pregnant patients on the other hand coming from Google directly. Via their new fragmentation. The library. And so this excited about this and I'll be -- -- would expect it. So alive -- -- -- when you tell me what it says. My understanding. So Google has put up as fragmentation -- fragment library. That is really -- to help developers. Solve issues. -- fragmentation standard world and this seems to -- more based on hardware fragmentation and sort of OS. Customization. The manufacturers have done so. -- -- build one -- port tablets as well as for phones. This will help you deal with different screen sizes. And this fragment library is actually built in the honeycomb. But you can build the fragment library itself into apps that are. Going to be released for Android one point six and later not. And it comes Pacific. So it's not entirely clear to me what this -- the development kit does. Of -- and help you deal with fragment that sort of hardware. You being the developer community who don't enter end user. Yet it ultimately benefits -- user of course when you do it he wouldn't use this as an end user Brett. He would use the fruits of though labor the developers will mean it does solve the problem. Or health. Addressed the issue. That was immediately when -- and indeed the human Nvidia came over their tegra zone of -- -- they're gonna be apps that are eventually release that. Come with system requirements and you can only run this to happen if you have. This festering larger or you can only run this -- if you. And -- processor that you know. It's from this manufacturer it kind of is a proactive. That for -- from Google's release -- -- that know how. -- if gonna help. It's still in the area if -- in forests that I can tell. But certainly guys that a tiny step in the right direction. I think so I applaud the effort. That -- I don't know about the implementation yet. So I have no good segue here but something else that we no school has been working on. Is is Google music sync service. They talked about it you know I guess where at the it's not a long time ago in in -- -- -- of those at the Google I O event in May. But since then we haven't really heard a whole lot about the -- music sync service. Until now. And we're -- we're not hearing about from Google now. We're inherited about it from users are people who sort of been hacking away at the honeycomb released over at the XTA. Developers forum where we get a -- -- the lynched in hacking news. -- if they discovered a version of Google music where the music player built in -- Android. With in the honeycomb released though it wasn't sort of like that actually. This somehow buried in their but it wasn't the one in school music player that he would use as a user of honeycomb. And estimates and -- this and found that it had a bunch of settings for. Streaming music and synching music. And so they actually set it up and gotta start syncing with Google music -- whatever that is it or wherever that is. And when user reports and after let it -- overnight they were able to to lead. The actual songs from their device but still then go back in and stream them from the mythical cloud. -- -- -- -- cloud of what went and you described this. And you can use the -- where's the music going -- on the Google's servers. Enthusiast into one user apparently says that -- music is going rights that are day. I mean I think this is a real Google's service and must of course that the Trojan -- -- entirely be possible. That there urges test scene and just haven't released yet so it's probably is. An associated with you your Google counted -- on some cool cloud server somewhere. -- -- I -- would like to be able to stream from my home server. Without even going through the trouble of going through with cloudy cloud. But I mean it's it's still interest thing today -- all the problem of our helps address the problem of a storage space on phones. It is anything you know -- a lot of users. Into the sixteen gigs -- that you get on most phones is a reasonable amount of space but then fill it up when music and these are recording videos and and your out of it. And it also. Helps with the you know the one of the big issues one of our area in a couple of -- kind of top I'm -- -- injury can be fixed little -- that we've done. And even doing the show. You know music comes up is an issue. And handling of music also comes up of an issue and -- we've been asking for. Some sort of an iTunes analogue and -- easily get music on to our servers and ask you got her phones but maybe this service is. And the fact that service is still in development as the reason we haven't seen any thing program. He could be and make its enemies have leapfrogged iTunes and in of -- anyways here's though of course Apple's rumored to be working on the same thing. With their acquisition of the -- there. Of that web top interfaith and with the -- the roots and the -- software you can. Actually now all use the web top interface on any HDMI capable display. If you've got a Bluetooth keyboard laying around. It's basically what is it an update to the dot provider and dot service. And up portal at ABK's. That the Motorola H Rick La forge you'll actually use. When it's connected to a dock. So basically what they've done is and to begin over on India -- forums. They've. Modified there's a -- so that now you can output video -- anything. And type with any compatible Bluetooth keyboard for now you can save yourself 500 bucks. On that into -- laptop that if you want to and you know invest. Little under hundred or -- like on on. Multimedia dock which is like -- 180 -- exactly really need to get is HDMI cable -- keyboard actually based -- comes with -- phone email account for the that's. If -- like me I -- -- all the time. But he -- used to just -- Bluetooth keyboard. And you're good to go there though it and is -- neat little feature. For you matrix -- -- users and and since Motorola said that. They're gonna be role in this. -- -- -- -- It's conceivable that unless Motorola closes this backdoor that humans have built in those -- -- that. -- this'll be something that's -- -- -- more than one phone in the future. -- have to wonder if this is possible on sort of non Motorola phones as well. I've had. Inability put hands on that HDMI connection usually only works for video content.
