Hey guys the -- the best of buzz out loud our weekly digest of this week's below shows my name is Steven -- video podcast producer for buzz out loud.
And this week's show anonymous gets raided by the FBI.
The woman's World Cup soccer final sets a new Twitter record was 7196. Tweets per second that's incredible.
And William Shatner is Google plus account gets temporarily shut down so without further -- sit back relax and enjoy this week's best of buzz out loud.
Want to talk about the world's.
World Cup women's game did you guys see that they not seen any -- you see that anyone in buzz town pay attention it.
I depleted it was incredible it was disappointment than the day you have to -- it really terrible they lost it was.
It was a crazy game -- kept on coming back and refuse to lose was encore.
222 and ending with analytics so they had regular play and -- have thirty minutes overtime it was.
I was it was an emotional game because of all the hardships.
Obviously know what happened in Japan right so you're an editor -- that's better from bittersweet bittersweet but it's one of those things -- like what sports can heal -- nation but.
To get -- to the -- -- of this.
The game itself the final between Japan and US according to Twitter.
Had -- even set a new record with 7196. Tweets per -- -- that specific record.
People tweeting about the -- for prince William and Kate and I also -- -- -- the death of Osama bin Laden well so that is the way it was able to maintain that street.
Really average average worldwide and right yeah yeah okay.
Okay that's that's partially why -- occasional bigger thing in this is a worldwide event but and soccer is it me or football William promoted football.
We're gonna -- is it would do is collect the most popular sport -- without yeah yeah yeah for sure that makes sense there.
So on the -- end up coming in second place.
Was the -- the Paraguay Brazil game which was at 7166.
-- per second but shows.
How engaged people are I don't know if you do this but when I'm lover I'm watching sports events and I feel sorry for people that are following on Twitter that they have --
They have deep -- just read read my Miami Heat I hate Miami Heat we tell it right although -- -- so even the alleged victim and six but now it's a pretty pretty -- but.
That was that was an awesome amazing game and worth the attention of Twitter world you -- -- -- sports and salon may associate the out every time something else happens mostly -- -- watched again it's there's a lot of drama involved in so.
The social aspect to Twitter taken over --
And some we talked about Google plus and how it's been a real social success always up to this point fair.
But they recently rolled out this new thing where there are preventing companies from any profiles -- -- use an official first and last name on your profile.
Thus preventing some people from getting -- -- the other girls rule.
Having announces less than the heart -- they are opening it up to businesses people have been -- least.
Up to Friday yes of last week keep businesses can apply for this and a -- where they're gonna start in two.
Write a business candy that's so we have a group our friends -- anonymous who applied.
Not apply to the business.
Business set up but wanted to get a Google plus account of their own.
But they were also banned with several counts related to group the main thing being you camp poster.
You need a poster first -- last thing I want a big plus I don't 'cause like hey this is anonymous is flag whoever says.
No -- tries to join us as -- name anonymous wasn't like that it was it's like -- you'd be lessening.
Leo isn't yet they -- they ban the group.
They named wanted to name it you your a non news it was a Google plus counted in haven't first name last name.
But the Google who love blogger posting said also that it violated their community standards but really the community standards is using a -- teacher so now.
In response to this Google has said it their plane to launch their own new social analysis it.
-- -- -- on a recent Google has so sorry yet.
I thank you for tracking number from now -- yeah anonymous is -- to launch their own use social network called a non plus where they say there will be no fear.
Again after that and several their accounts relate to the group.
Now this is a very early pet project currently have about eighty developers working on it.
They don't know when it's going to officially released -- you know.
They're deciding that they want to build a social network to keep their.
Beat Tampa -- that join ought to be incident actually jumping on that it.
They get information or just to get more insight on how they.
How they operate how -- -- I'm sure the -- -- very exclusive it's only fair He -- what's the best way to make a social network popular.
May make it excludes there and have limited invites and I'm -- -- plus will be able to do that yeah I -- my wife.
She is so frustrated -- she can't get on Hulu plus for some reason I senator and by Seoul time she just doesn't receive them.
Even within just a Gmail account has just you'll come everything and she can get on -- is it's like she wants to get on so bad I just because of that everyone else is --
There's a lot of people that want Google -- and bytes and we've done this several times in the chat -- and through our -- scenes but if you guys wanna check out.
Or get access -- Google plus there's plenty people here if you join us in the live chat.
That will offer up their email just -- you to contact them and and it will give you Google -- in itself there's still plenty of people I wanna get and so you know coming out -- live show.
-- with those stuck with -- and noble will get you hooked up.
Also in other news about Google plus William Shatner is account.
Was also temporarily shut down as it should be -- -- Shatner it continues in English chat day.
It did come back He wrote I'm back plus there's I still do not know what happened but -- refrain from -- hello again for a while just in case.
FBI has raided the homes of suspected anonymous hackers.
They connected raids at four New York residences as well as locations in California this Tuesday morning.
In connection with an ongoing investigation into the hacking group anonymous.
Sources have said there are no arrest is the -- CBS news were -- but agents have seized computers. And computer accessories. Like -- -- but that's.
-- put died in a given that USB cable -- now that you mention what will be like somebody came out and took all your tech could be.
-- it would be -- and obvious sad sad day and a -- -- it happened to them.
Baghdad an editor was the name adjacent Jennifer it is -- when they found the iPhone and they that's basically -- -- his cameras is laptops.
And everything -- also we have some other information.
From Dan Farber with our CBS news division He He specifically -- this message in addition the story that US government officials have told CBS news that there's more.
Than a dozen -- happening across the United States right now in connection.
The anonymous computer hacking investigation.
You know the funny thing is the way this has to happen because everybody's connected lives in real time as anonymous -- totally decentralized there's no as far as we know are the main thing is there's no leader right so everybody.
Kind of has shared -- sort of and they'll do the real thing. So if you wanna take on anonymous.
You have to take it down all once because the -- -- down and raid one guy he'll like.
Beyond in the Internet digital -- field or in his friend saying everybody look at it really takes to drill puts -- -- hard drives and runs.
So they have to do it all at the same time which is really tough to coordinate apparently -- -- doing that right now there's like.
Black booted thugs kicking in doors as we speak.
You know it's.
I'm really curious to see how -- all shake out because weeks we've seen how they've.
Had raids done over I believe in of the Netherlands earlier but nothing and -- we don't know if these are related or linked to some of the findings of that.
But anonymous a -- sake of continued.
There onslaught even in light of the news from today and it earlier this morning lol sect had announced that they were real plane in a release seen a large email archive.
-- how to hack on the sun's website which is part of Rupert Murdoch's family of publications and online website so visitors of the sun -- were redirected towards a fake story about the supposed did.
Death of Rupert Murdoch who is very emotional lives of very much applies to both -- faked.
Fabricated and made up yes it was a good and executive pretty good hack yeah that'll -- -- clip but in addition to this.
During their hack they were able to a -- it was one of the members of -- --
Released email log --
News of the world we've talked about some of these phone hacking stories that happen over in the UK she's a dumb but He released her on her like information.
And they've said they're planning on later today some time to announce the release of entire email archives from the company and some other interactions dealings this.
If so if they've got Murdoch's email this will not -- Although.
I have heard that he's not that technologically savvy it's it's Rupert Murdoch and it got so but I don't know so so we'll see but you know if those if -- -- been has been talk about what He knows what He didn't know and when He didn't know it.
This will not -- well it was already going pretty badly we haven't -- on the show for awhile but what's your take on.
Lol second anonymous continue to have these attacks is it.
Is it helping their cause or anything it's becoming so what does that cause I mean the original cause of of these -- in the what is the cause of anonymous.
Anonymous is original cause it appeared.
Was to expose. Corruption.
On fairness and fat cats so so they would release documents like they say they do from chemical companies or governments or.
You know whatever things that that showed how.
Then people of the world we're getting screwed.
And -- also came along and they do something else which was they were releasing.
Email addresses and -- and hacking into services that were directly.
Actually affecting consumers.
So they look like.
They were sort of the same -- -- really very different but now looks like anonymous is also releasing.
Do incredible sticky type things are I don't know what their mission is I mean it it it it looks to me like you're really is a loose affiliation because their mission on the one hand seems -- be.
You know Robin Hood and on the other hand seems -- -- people at the same time -- it's difficult and these are groups out.
Were originally formed together -- -- was reportedly.
A spin off of the on screen that read more in this insidious you know a motives and then they decide to scale back and and of at least some of the members from our knowledge come back together to form -- one frankly still see the fact that Apple's site is -- -- this new -- this new malicious.
Email attack or at least the acquisition of emails that they're going to release.
It still seems like there's clearly some splattered. Goals between the two yes -- also --
You know they had their what was -- thirty days of whatever was a packing it and then they resort themselves back into anonymous -- announced that thing amendment we have.
You know the the Murdoch scandal and alike though.
It's hugely active again because that's that's just to juicy. A scandal and -- at layer upon layer of scandals to pass up.
And has to take down the British government misuse.
-- the FBI arrested sixteen people in relation to.
The anonymous hacking investigation. People from all over the country.
What's the deal did they get the right guys I mean.
This has been going on for awhile I think its its very questionable you've got anonymous obviously doesn't have the legit higher keepers say it's just not a couple of people and -- a couple people lot of savvy people and RC channel officials said He -- they get caught.
I'm -- like this really puts a dark cloud over anonymous here and -- like these guys are like the vigilantes of our generation.
And a week after they do something to -- -- by the FBI.
Which you know I'm gonna I'm not upset at the gecko but they're doing is -- legal program just saying here for the people who -- wish first -- on the Internet.
This kind of you know a couple of reports related to all that it's it's just the -- a couple -- manages thirteen year old kids running.
My thirteen year olds are not now not don't come encounters with -- budget they're.
The little -- reading in the news that apparently two teens were arrested in Long Island in New York Nina and that nobody was actually arrested known was brought into. Jail -- don't like that so.
-- suspect in -- -- on in this.
Spoof their accounts -- that need the you know so that's.
Actually there is a glimmer of hope the FBI was a mastermind you know evil hacker that's what I would yeah I was I would put the blame on --
My grandma -- -- I was gonna happen.
No next bus into so what's happened is -- couple octogenarian is sitting down and stable enough for up you get a bunch eighty are about eighty euros -- -- yeah we're where I hacking or playing you know a -- yeah -- -- --
Playing with Eleanor and I give them as a -- then that's -- that's what they'll do well.
It's a captain planet.
Live action film series that is coming from the same people who brought us He magnificent transformers movie.
I thought -- that is my quest for that how are they gonna broach the very sensitive mull -- issue I. Client dealt with battery only thank you -- I don't know it's very table although.
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --
But if -- if the stories about captain planet's brought to -- by the people me transformers were thinking like Michael -- Steven Spielberg and executive producer Al Gore.
You know and it's just a two hour movie where.
America does a PowerPoint -- I check it out.
I guess I'm not a bad -- when -- younger.
Template or did you didn't really care -- -- -- remember that -- was the school where dean you know eating I didn't care that He wanted to save the earth in 1985 and accounts look like Patrick Swayze to.
I totally agree that's -- yes.
I imagine that it's gonna be beautiful at least like watching the movie that's the best thing about transformers right heard that there was -- transformers movie.
But nobody think his -- high cinema but watching the thing it's an awesome special effects I wanna see -- -- captain planet does.
Yeah the commissioning its gonna feature the voices of Whoopi Goldberg Meg Ryan and Martin Sheen I don't think there -- -- it to know.
There's that articles mentioning that steamy cameo in the original CDs take it back always write a sermon that's their habitats anybody yet but this is a picture of captain planet.
Is He wearing a half -- -- yes -- --
All that's implying that his -- -- -- right so if captain I guess FaceBook is bases on the -- yes John preacher he's wearing either -- -- -- yet or have -- global warming not a problem Africa the planet and was alerted via what do -- -- the planet tears and plenty yes all these celebrities that did the voices for this though when people who think they should come back -- for -- -- but I -- trying to I remember what I remember of the cartoon series is very. Multi cultural rights.
We -- like -- a personal wheelchair -- -- when it would only release you -- the case the --
-- that's isn't something.
Just transport them right -- yeah that'll work.
-- -- thing captain planet -- zesty which I think that's really appropriate thing adjective and is that once this idea and effort it.
I -- that -- Baghdad. Aspect.
To all right wanna talk about something that's happening in China these days through -- --
The Apple news and has come out Wilson particularly glad to keep from crying about this story it's about our motherland and there's -- apparently there are a lot and I mean a lot of fake Apple stores across the great land of China you have so as the -- Chinese people in the room.
And after have you guys explain it to be eaten -- calculate just a little bit of background there's a company I think it's KI.
Care RF curve. -- low hanging out with.
Pretty much copies of the iPhone and a -- cheap low -- -- likened. A phone that looks like the iPhone four.
The less than hundred dollars and why would I want that.
I mean I -- somebody's audio just -- for the status and okay so so but this doesn't explain it wasn't stellar story is even worse because not only is their fake hardware in the store.
Distort -- looks like it real Apple went with literally. A lot I think Apple.
It says Apple's they like it and -- this is really see it like this is a new -- To straight up copy yet it's an Apple it's as we did Apple Store and it -- -- -- sign on the outside the cleared. I mean they're not that I mean the Apple logo in.
You'd expect a curfew keep it keep your concern.
Is that the company but there -- a lot of people who are counting iphones is always keep it real fake yet keep it real -- Buchanan. But this is crazy the Kerr well I guess curve.
Apple Store -- you suggested this is called this is from could mean as a province in China.
But Apple has no record of any store native command said there's a distributor in China cluster condoning but.
Not anywhere where this particular -- -- popped -- I don't know if you aren't being sued -- its its word of who is funding this Apple --
I mean I'm I didn't at this point kind of impressed yeah I -- I want to go there --
Well it's gonna be a knock off iPhone four line and knocked off my -- you're running like it when you buy a hot -- -- --
What's even crazier is that not only do they have fake Apple products they have.
Fate third party products that real Apple stores sell to like for example check out now all they have now all those are real both --
It's a vote today -- potency. And beaten to IKI Andy this is ridiculous. Should we open up our own Apple story is that what the system and I don't wanna automate other things that you -- -- fee -- --
I mean I'd like literally they've got everything from teacher attempted diesels for voter and I think it's --
So that's it for this we show you can catch buzz out loud Monday through Friday at 10:30 AM Pacific standard time.
On cnet.com slash live my name is Steven -- -- have a great day.
