[SOUND] The best way to save battery life is to not use your phone.
But that's not gonna happen so here's what else you can do.
Uninstall apps that are known memory hogs.
Some users report that removing Facebook's Android app gave them 20% more battery life.
Turn down screen brightness manually and switch off auto brightness sensors.
Switch off services like GPS and Bluetooth until you actually need them.
When your phone rings or gets a notification the vibration chews through battery.
Use silent mode or turn off the volume instead.
If your phone is constantly checking for new email with push notifications change to a fetch notification.
This will only look for new messages at set intervals.
Also try using the specific powersave mode.
For Androids running Marshmallow those mode is automatically enabled.
iPhone uses connect low power mode, it turns off battery intensive features but you still get calls and messages.
