[UNKNOWN] 2016 one of HPs other laptop tablet hybrids is getting a screen upgrade as well.
This is the Pavillion x2.
We previously saw it in a 10 inch screen version.
Now there is a 12 inch version and retains one of the main things we liked about the original which is a pull apart screen with a magnetic connection so you don't have to Press a button or flip a switch or undo a latch in order to separate the screen and the keyboard base.
You just yank it off, it comes off.
You put it back together, and the magnet guides you so that it snaps very cleanly into place.
On this bigger 12 inch screen, you get Get a higher res screen option.
Full 1920 by 1280, so a little bit better then full HD.
You can also get a much bigger SSD, up to a 256 gig SSD in the tentative version topped out at about 64 gigs.
And that was it, and, of course, you also get USB type C, we're seeing this pop up more and more and here use it for data connections and also to charge which I find very handy.
Now you're going to be able to get this guy in February for about $500, that is the HP Pavillion X2 12 inch version.
