The Lenovo Vibe Band VB10 may not be much to look at it.
It's got a super simple e-ink face with rubber bands, and a couple of different programs and apps on it, but it does cost only $89 US, so it is cheap.
I'm Jessica Dolcourt for CNET, taking a look at this here at CES 2015 in Las Vegas.
So in a world where we increasingly have smart watches with Android Wear and Apple Watch coming out, this e-ink display doesn't seem very impressive, but what it's got going for it is outdoor legibility, it really cuts down on glare, and the ability to have a really long battery life.
It is Bluetooth enabled, it will give you phone notifications.
There is search, search just means it will help you find your phone if you've misplaced it.
There is no touch screen instead you use the rocker on the side and a button to select now a lot of these bands do work in fitness and in this case you do get an S in full pedometer as well another little bonus is that it is water resistant.
Rated IP67, that means you can take it to a depth of about three feet for 30 minutes.
There's a lot of competition in the smart watch and smart band space, so pricing is really key for this one.
We do expect it to come out in Asia where Lenovo is typically strong.
But, I wouldn't expect to see it in the US, UK, or Australia.
