Dialed In #204: The mighty Galaxy Nexus has landed!

Mobile
Everybody in is Monday December 19 2000. -- -- and almost 2012. I'm just adult court here that dialed in CNET -- them podcaster and in New York by Brian and it's. Hey guys and in San Francisco by our technical producer Steven -- Audi a morning. So we have a lot -- -- today and -- a little bit of time and that basically it has all abouts and it's. So this is the amazing adventures of the Samsung galaxy nexus. Because you know there was delay there's delay we heard all these rumors is gonna come out on December ninth and and it didn't and then it was gonna come out. On the fifteenth and we didn't believe that and then suddenly there -- -- Verizon announcement last Wednesday. Alex 3 PM Pacific time light -- coming out tomorrow. It went public that like -- What they do any kind of buildup for that -- -- kind of like here it is I think there is already so much built up a third here's the thing so I mentioned in -- -- -- There is -- delay. And I got a little bit of claiming that fat well they never announced -- that there wasn't a delay believe me people there was a delay. -- If I bit. On the industry side there was -- so it's I am. I mean it's believed to be a delayed. Between like -- -- herb not -- like not dancing at all actually Google and Verizon. Is kind of working out and that software. -- might have had something to do with Google wallet which is not on the phone. -- -- Well I yeah I'm getting ahead of myself about the phone -- so basically -- we -- like enough to get the phone. Before it's became available and act -- and I did her view on the Verizon version just as we had -- -- review -- -- unlocked version. And we gave it an editor's choice award. For various reasons. That does not mean that we think it is a perfect because no -- is perfect and we definitely don't think it's perfect but we do think that it is. Absolutely one of the most compelling and that's available right now and then asked most powerful -- and that's available right now. And of course ice cream sandwich is sort of what makes it really stand out. And by its. When ice containment becomes available. To you other -- phones is kind of penalties that ads are for right now this. Really and it's it's that experience that I would -- so even though I really like. At that rate raiser at HTC resound at and a lot of other and gingerbread phones. I would rather reach for this -- in music -- aren't ice cream sandwich experience. So. There we have it I mean that it. The unlocked version was really -- to you but there were some more problems with that. For example this one and I think just kind of correct some of those problems it's heavier it's a little bit thick current in mind that it was thin but I. Attention named Q nudist that this -- heavier and -- -- for a little bit sturdier as well it just feels a lot less fragile. Also it's got double the storage that's got 32 gigabytes and -- sixteen. As that a system that's awesome right there that -- got -- significant. We need to put most of your music collection I mean if you don't have autonomy is equipped with a lot of music on on the phone. There is now what expendable memory and by I think what Google wants to do is -- for music especially you know they want you to use Google music. Yeah and a via. For example. So there's there's quite a bit of storage and then it also just house Verizon's four GL TE speeds. Which are impressive and they were consistent in my tests here in San Francisco. And they were fast and overall this it's just it's a nice device you know it's not. The most perfect it's not -- most premium feeling but it is I mean there are very few actual rebels that are deal breakers so. We definitely point out -- In our review what the weak points aren't. But I -- But they're not enough deal breakers for not so this still may not need a phone that you -- up with it still may not need -- -- -- -- -- -- for you. That right now at this moment it is a great phone an Amazon was actually selling it for half the price it's 299 dollars Amazon was selling it for a 150 dollars the first -- it was really. That's pretty good so just an accounts got this phone like the first day came out and he showed it to mean. And the first thing I -- -- that it looked huge and now you've got to play with their feet for a few days so does -- feel like real big like too bulky recently have it. It doesn't because of this slim yeah. And I said it's substantially heavier than the previous version but it's not heavier than other I mean. I think it's it's five pounds so that's appropriate for the dimensions. -- I think it's big went to Justin. Now before I think he had I can't remember it because like the -- I mean and it generally pretty light and iPhoto with a 3.5 inch screen yeah that's what I. I have and this feels small and tiny to me and area than when I saw that I was like I want that's huge riot when I also like -- -- -- the screen as a it's it's also -- and -- what -- at 720. Now let's greatly geek you know you -- -- on the camera like all the certificate could see how sharp pictures. It's really really cool. Yet it is an an HD and animal led screens that is really nice one thing that we noticed earth that we mention was at the screen is for point 65 and just. But it also has -- on screen controls on the bottom but are built into UI mean that's part of operating -- -- you don't have the touch display. So it does work out to be a four point five inch screen so if you're used to that if you use to something larger. I don't get that impression this is enormous I think I did maybe when I first saw that now -- used to phones. Our about the science yet but the four point five inch screens that if that's -- in which you want this is definitely in act passed if you like a smaller phone. In -- note that thing -- but it's also pretty -- in the hand. So. I I find it comfortable and it's -- as hyper skin back in just this material that's a little bit format and and I find comfortable holds -- appealing design so. -- that's like a curve the very act sooner -- exactly. -- and hug your face it's hard to see it's it's very subtle and it does make your face. I don't really think to me that's not a selling point and science appeals finally cheek but. I -- that's not a reason I would buy it and I don't even notice it I even forgot about it just now. Well it's -- those little touches that Simpson likes them. -- and make sure that that you know it it it'll actually hopefully it and it. Provide some sort of a difference you know. -- I -- I was gonna -- when you're talking about it because if it it's kind of curved. Which isn't two minutes screen concurrently. Yeah and it says Samsung nexus as also had -- anchor about it maybe even more pronounced. And that's just kind of like -- thing. Yeah sort of like a race to see in the church in thing on the on some other regional heroes and things like that -- the -- action -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Yeah. Yeah that was questionable design future. I agree with you I didn't really like that. Searchers one of the things with tag. With a galaxy nexus for Verizon as it does not have. Google -- Yeah what is -- Well you know this this this whole thing is just a funny because com. You know you with the galaxy nexus it was to -- on Verizon. People wonder why tonight coming it turns out it seems that. Even though it has the whole NFC technology. Which is hardware and enables a wireless communication. Over short range. -- -- -- -- -- -- Payments and things like that at the register. Turns out that. You know Google wanted its wallet -- on the device activated. But Verizon. Doesn't want to because they're part of this a group called crisis which guy is a consortium of stuff three of the major US. -- crisis is basically a competitor to Google wallet with master exactly exactly and in it's so crazy because you know it's funny how it's it's all the free to carriers who are not part of -- Who wallets initiative meaningless and so on -- -- wanted to put their own -- -- their own wallet service. On on some phones and control you know how people hey and -- we recover that that money now once it's argues in the phones as a while in the pavement so. He had a spat between. Approval and in Verizon and so finally. Guests who loss of relented and now. Even though has a technology on there it is not enabled who laws unable. Though turns -- people been. Packing it in accidents and turn your -- trying to get it -- it records your sensitive data which is the ups adware from the fifth. But yes I mean you can you can now of people of output this app on two on the phone on to -- access on both an unlocked version and the Verizon version. On to let -- are using Google wallet. If you want to him and -- it checked out things like that. So is and -- staying thing -- -- low post about it in. It's funny how people are so upset by this that you know yeah okay -- you know by pay for a phone minutes running Android the latest and greatest version. I should go to take advantage all of -- the abilities and in some features and things like plus you know I'm really dubious about prices and their whole. Plan because it I've never seen really compelling software that -- wireless carriers at least in the states have enables so. I mean it does anyone ever use -- house and you later. -- -- -- and any of -- kind of stuff I tends not anyway I mean I download apps that I how many years if they're not in there but now and a I don't really use that's. And evidence that Google wallet is something that I would use and I think that. In -- that the big. Turning here as a sort of that this is -- to year debut. In -- chance to have ice cream sandwich on a phone on a Verizon phone. And our -- kind of starting with a mark against the phone itself in this is a problem but just in terms of the relationship. Between Google Verizon and the relationship. Between everybody in the US specifically. And who would want this phone and Verizon and Google sort of -- It -- black mark against them anything because. One of the biggest perks of having an FC in the stone -- you can 200 beam which is very cool and I tested that out. But one of the other points is using it CU patent and and using Google wallet to pay. So only you know you go into -- -- gap and they have Google wallet but no one phone. Or maybe they're too phones with their nexus S but -- -- the phones in America that can work with us in am one of them is working. So exactly and and even the have a Samsung galaxy S here which is on T-Mobile ones and -- Sides basically AT&T. You know. They do not they have the technology -- a sort of built and you still can't download while so. -- out and got a built into the battery. It's crazy. So I mean. But you have to have the software the phone as well it's not on Google law urge to get on NFC in general so -- I don't I don't know what's up -- that but hopefully -- as soon as they update sea ice cream sandwich. I'm hoping that pat should turn on and speaking of which the Samsung nexus -- Has already started updating to ice cream sandwich for some people. That is came out on Friday. And Google said that they were rolling out its updates over the next month but only -- four did GSM versions. So if you haven't -- Alex Eric. Off and getting -- confused with the -- if you have a nexus asked for sprint. Then you still have to wait but if you have it for T-Mobile or AT&T it -- you can start looking for an update. Man I really wish they should have pulled the trigger on the phone for Timbaland would have been so much -- picker pretty average. I well I just right now I just amusing like an old act HD two which is running Android but. You know fun actually has the foresight and gotten the nexus S I would have had -- in size from -- -- right now so. -- another argument for buying the premier fountain. Saturday the -- -- -- galaxy nexus get the first updates and you might get Warner to you extra features. Especially with an -- the near field communication technology. So if -- you do how the nexus -- Or if you just got a galaxy nexus three think you're gonna get -- -- your -- for your phone to upgrade tampered four point oh ice cream sandwich. I did and video of eleventh an Austin tips and tricks. And so you can check that out and sort of start taking a look at what you can expect. -- what was the coolest thing you -- -- you can -- -- sandwich -- -- in the costing. We'll -- literal belittled tips and tricks I mean that there're a lot of small visual and organizational. Additions and enhancements. And some of that is just the usability of eyes Gmail for example -- really -- Or being able to do these other things -- really nice but some of the secret and hidden tips and tricks -- -- -- at. For example -- the easiest way to set an alarm. It's just -- Well you've got the video here but it's just by tapping -- alarm clock or the easiest way to an installed program Google's may not much faster you don't have to go in through the settings. And uninstalled outweigh their system -- an easy way you can do -- from the app tray and dragging and basically to the home screen. So things like that there are some of those really nice features. Edit I feel like engineers have been wanting to do for a -- time in this was their chance and had to Wheaton -- wait until it was ice cream sandwich time. Awesome so that this is not only phone that -- attack recently there's another went on had a little bit of buzz and that brain you actually to -- -- -- the -- leukemia 710. That's right yeah and that these via -- -- 710 now. This was the European model that that was announced in London at Nokia world -- Moscow. And they actually just announced at last week I'm on T-Mobile so this this device a few -- Is a Windows Phone some point five mango device. Being -- it basically. It's a pretty slick looking phone -- it that comes in two colors at least that's fuel versions do. -- it has you know white front face with the black. Back cover or he can be all black. Armed of the European models have on these you know for a different colors or different colors and -- yet they have -- it's like. Most bullish for colors RB was maybe just five for distant bias -- -- four for one of five and other. Yeah it's like you know -- -- you know if there's yellow magenta cyan white black area right. Yes exactly and you know we don't even know if they're gonna actually you bring those colors -- yet but. You know it's a very cool looking device -- And LCD screen reports about seven inch -- correctly. But at least it tonight if it has that -- clear black technology that a Nokia users which ups the contrast so it looks really nice. Sides using the live tile interface from mango and you'll get multitasking and -- a lot of you know very cool. Slick looking armed elements com where -- -- us you know full. What about the specs on its. -- and the cost will you know the cost what was it it was. Basically. No 199. Ryan it's a -- name mean sorry 499 in my argument -- -- -- Yeah it was it was really -- now -- 49 -- nine that we -- kind of like shocked by that tears as -- -- dollar fifty dollar fine on T-Mobile. That's what it's content that yes crazy does agree to attract. Some what was the other that we play -- in -- the Libya 800 is is that other Nokia -- there was a Samsung ass. That was at a local. The focus of boasted that focus I remember the focus flash was 49 out of focus flash is also a fifty dollar -- spent about -- eminence on separate carriers. Well that's crazy because the occurs when they told me it was going to be like it was like. 150 years and yet but I bet you yeah I think the price drop that's crazy and -- must have prom songs and put. -- not out yet. Mean it -- available in January 11 that's right it has -- -- though that's -- that's unbelievable. But you know I mean it has a has a -- as a five megapixel camera. It's not as -- -- as the -- 800 which a lot of people would hope would come to fuel. -- you know it doesn't have -- amoled screen like 800 does and it only has eight gigabytes -- -- Yeah well of course Microsoft is trying to sell cloud storage service I drive -- -- -- 25 gigabytes bank. Now I think it's a little bit of a deterrent. You know the thing as. I actually have trouble economist isn't an insulated I had I have some issues with some -- -- cloud services at -- -- using. -- had me was just because my windows live account is -- -- spread across different phones and -- testing but. I've had issues noticed transferring. Files over. You know if you had a Zune. A music on one. PC anyone transfered over to another sometimes -- -- transfer or for videos -- First you have to -- Over heart connection before -- actually -- over Wi-Fi. On the does do you know Wi-Fi. Syncing which is very cool. But you know some of the things that people take program on an iPhone or even Android -- just you know listen to podcasts and you know things like that if it's not as fast or as easy to understand. But once you get a running if it's a really slick interface. You know with the Zune music -- and seeing all of that sort of graphical displays of the artists are listening to and -- and also in all your pictures everything can download directly from FaceBook. Com directly to the phone. Which. A lot of phones can do or -- takes another app or something like that to -- that happened com and also just putting you know. -- different apps onto the start menu and just pinning him directly there which is pretty cool so mean it's it's -- -- the whole interface is very slick. Arms lot of fun com. There are some issues -- with just some thoughts and please abilities and things like that. It may prevent people from mine you know moving over its an -- -- platform. Like -- all it's pretty -- Yeah I mean I took a look at this phone also -- right after it debuted for Nokia world and I thought it was I think that fifty dollars is priced just perfectly. And I think it makes it a really compelling choice for budget phone for T-Mobile. However. I do think that. There are you know it it's got a colorful personality and looks really interesting looks different. It does have Windows Phone which makes it reliable because it's pretty much the same operating system on every device and you just think out the specs rate. C think about storage you think about the camera performance you'd think about the -- quality of the phone. I how does it feel in the hand is -- -- larger t.s small. And it does have those physical keyboards below the screen and I personally thought they could have been a little bit better. But I think we really need to think about is why is Nokia doing -- now in this order. So Roger Chang of CNET news wrote a commentary and I pretty much agree with him word for word. Basically he is suggesting that in -- instead of making a splash in the US releasing a flagship phone mean remember. Nokia basically throughout its entire operating system in order to you'd use windows and kind of add on that. And so what are they do they need the US they've never really how to -- US presence that had very weak US presence before with the carriers. The best carrier relationship is probably always been with T-Mobile. And this is the right kind of from fourteen however T-Mobile is having problems it may or may not be bought by EAT and T. If it's not. It definitely needs to reassess its identity and what the heck it's -- in due to stay alive or isn't gonna sell off part this is not exactly the strongest -- In addition to -- and they're starting off with a phone that's the weaker of the -- said the gloomy -- 800 that we -- which may or may not come to the US under a different name. That we saw that earlier also after Nokia world that's definitely the splash your phone with a higher -- acts and it's. More interesting to look at also when its owner and some point five operating systems are all gonna be -- going -- -- until the bump up to windows eight. However. That seems to me like they should awaited me. Introduced up phone probably -- TS. Introduced that phone. And then introduce this instead the first taste. That we're getting out of Nokia and -- -- phone and their partnership here in the US. As the sort of mid range found that is pretty nice but ultimately for -- -- So I'm wondering how much of businesses and -- -- -- doesn't -- makes sense for customers here now. You know it's it's probably -- some sort of dispute between. Carrier and maybe some of their partners like Samsung. ST Mobil's and maybe even ECC with their you know. They have their flagship phones are on fuel now so there's probably some sort disagreement with not wanting to push. You know Nokia's flagship phone the same time it's as its the other guys maybe there's some sort of backed deal. Backroom deals that have been going on -- keep that I'm really much better device from T-Mobile. Which you know in in very basics you know sucks for consumers -- everybody wants that wants. Columbia at least if you hadn't -- -- -- at the -- -- -- -- We you know what. Maybe it you know it could be could be AT&T. -- roots -- -- -- mean it's the ECTs in getting all the sort of a choice. First phones for awhile -- it also they've got LTE -- -- ignored it and SM phone and exactly -- Makes to SM phones. Exactly are coming -- Could be a lot easier to port that over two. Units at T-Mobile Lori -- And I don't think in email and pick -- -- and -- important -- so. Com. But I hope and -- -- -- rather have it on Tivo thank you much -- -- it. -- well on the net let's take a little break and we will be back with a couple headlines. The board. And we are. So the rumor at this morning was that AT&T might be giving up on the deal with T-Mobile. So if there is no deal with T-Mobile. In -- and T-Mobile basically -- claw their way back from the brink and sort of figure out who they're gonna be and what they -- in India. Kent German wrote an -- keeps honest. And basically. Listed his suggestions to T-Mobile for what they could do in order to start sort of stay relevant -- the steel basically collapses. So one of them is as you pick up error coverage outside of urban areas. And -- from HSP -- plus to LT me. To get iPhone or any. And not leave any of -- character. So that means basically that priced it customer service and actually humming a line of pretty exciting phones. And I think that's kind of -- you're suggesting -- I think that you wanted to see the Nokia Indiana 800. And T-Mobile. Yeah absolutely I mean I mean you know in my view T-Mobile has you know -- -- -- You know always had great Christmas service and com. Have also had in a very very low prices opt. Especially for data and things like that. -- and -- also had a pretty good to have a lot of nice Android phones over over the last few years. Arm but it seems -- you know and indeed they do you mean -- and the iPhone off for us now -- us. Hampshire there'd be so many people -- jump on that news. -- pretty much you know -- the other guys I feel calm especially if if there was held he. You know connect users so. Just because if you combine that you know LTE Ian and -- good Christmas service lower prices. -- in the selection. And that would be one sweet. Provider to go that. But you know right now it's really what the two major phones on -- T-Mobile -- and a HTC news that the means and means -- It and and then there's via the -- go out as soon. And their you know and I think they're both sold out right now access -- tried to look. -- so many deals its amazing T-Mobile and -- giving away their phones for free. If you go to their website they're they're free phones through I added the 21 so they're still two days but. Our phones like edgy two acts that yes yes and that's I mean that's still really good phone. I have I -- -- anything about it getting updated to ice cream sandwich by it as kind of an effort to list and some of them are sort of lower and mid range phones which are still -- -- But I have I did he got went on there and it -- -- this. But that was a pretty actually -- -- and raised my eyebrows a little bit. Actually I'd I -- -- -- prickly LG did say. Sort of vaguely that said that about a few weeks ago that they were planning to update their phones their current phones that ice from -- so. -- a feeling that that foale did the G two X will get -- from Sampson. Dear -- that was actually the first dual core phone. Now have almost every phone has not everything on that sort of -- the more premium phones mean it's ubiquitous we see it everywhere and it's and not quite a year. Now I mean I think I mean -- if you could snap that up for free that's probably pretty good deal pretty good deal now. So -- -- only company that's potentially in trouble rim seems to be just plunging further and further into misery. Roger Chang wrote -- a series of story is starting -- if how well we we won't get into exactly the fact that she former rim executives that have been summarily Lego where her. Drunk on a plane and cheap plastic -- estranged. That is a creepy story I don't know why we didn't talk about it on here -- and it just seems like it's a little bit like wallowing in the -- via the talk about it but at the same time it's like -- There are drowning -- doesn't you have to know didn't like how could that happen at. These guys were already drunk before they get on the -- their first class they start drinking or drinks falsely -- or drinks are really glitter rent. Yes they attacked the -- as -- -- both -- something. Was frustrated yeah and monitors that it -- restraint and Begin what they like read by -- blacked out drug. Elastic meaning. While I mean you know and that -- this is -- -- Like reality it sounds like a comic book. It doesn't it's it's not exactly like a TV show it to -- -- or really bad episode of -- -- is something that. It -- real worries too so one of those queries as that they have lost significant profit and revenue in the third quarter. We're not surprise just. Buy it and it they are apparently. And and they also admitted that the next generation phone running and EB acts -- on the rise in his Blackberry ten that platform. Isn't -- come out until. -- Next year which is something that we knew already. -- from. -- buried. Developer conference that -- here in San Francisco in November. But at the same time I think analysts are basically reading the writing on the wall as they -- for some time and now the decline is even steeper. However. Against like bed because CEO's -- insisted that and it it it means we'll get worse before -- will get better but it's sticking with the Blackberry playback. They're sticking with its plan. On the other hand that's that's currency. Doubt anything. I think it's it's totally -- command. You know yeah I mean -- go -- too much but that's just that's just right now I mean what what on earth. I mean by the time these -- BB. BB eight and whenever I'm gonna call -- -- of these -- Pakistan. Yes users say -- these these devices and I mean to be pretty much irrelevant. So. Mean you know to be like you know that the kind of phones that are current now -- you know -- they'll be on par with those so at this point. You know. Even with call me when when the playbook just starts to run Android apps that that's when -- pay attention. They do I mean they have a simulator and then and not a simulator exactly it it worked pretty well when -- took a look at it was pretty seamless you just kind of like. Open up that and it runs in the background in am new in them so it's still like to be in development -- it -- why -- -- -- the playback running -- apps. Why would you -- It's -- -- and now I mean I I understand why you would wanna have the best of both worlds. Yeah I -- honestly I don't even know why you would name and we think about it is why why would why you want I mean the Blackberry hardware is really nice the playbook it's really nice but. It slowly getting older. As time goes by so. You know like the latest stuff from Samsung and in the you know some of the other -- tablets. Odd and even you know -- and -- iPad two of course but. -- they're gonna be so much of you know better in just the same amount of hi I inspects that why even you know at this point it's gonna get -- -- work. I won't even need it anymore -- even one. -- this device you know. I do know I mean they can even move product until the fire sales -- 199. Dollars. And I was 99 dollars for employees to you can -- -- their own employees to buy the things -- just another hit towards. To rim today was that there was a story that one point seven million dollars worth of Blackberry Playbook -- stolen off of from a truck in Indiana. Well I am trying to run this morning -- just even more bad news programs are program but it. Here's figured products being stolen and even purchase -- we're going in and use those -- -- Warner I have no idea eBay. I think I'll. Probably -- in a 100% profit no matter -- sell for. And then make matters worse investors are basically saying ran in and -- -- handset business and just make money off of your patents. Just leveling out what they wanna hear one of the co CEOs Mike as I write this actually. Is also -- rim founder. So that rings -- another interesting dynamics play. Just because you know sometimes founders him down. They they want and retain control and they don't want to let that go it's your -- -- here. On their whole crime on -- add on and realistically and really well for awhile I think he'd be incredibly difficult to see your company. So the last bit of news -- just a real quickie on. A certain special flavor of the -- is there. That's right and case media I needed another white Smartphone. -- -- -- -- there are any but last week go we got news of the Droid. RAZR from Motorola is going to be. Coming in a white version seen it I mean it's already is is -- as its 299. -- 99 so. It's already -- -- entitled any nine -- there that's right I -- it's not mean geez we can just say 300 dollars. Can't read this 300 dollars. We -- that's Thomas across -- you're spending 33 rebel infringements on mapping and that's expensive -- phone. I mean what is for -- what does with all the phones now coming that are about to break three dollar mark -- mean it's getting reject. You're also paying for Verizon's -- team. Exactly and we're paying for but although this is the best time of your iPhone because almost all of them are -- -- if you wanna spend 300 dollars you can buy they don't -- he nexus for 150 from Amazon although I'm not sure they have new York stock. The original was that the original nexus dig out all of Gaza nexus oh yeah that's -- Agreement don't see -- -- RAZR is also very cool. -- you can get an -- -- now. You can get it in point and you know if you need that go ahead I think the LTE speeds are really fast when you -- -- itself. -- I mean it's a thin super thin device with and with Android and I'm an HD display so. Pretty awesome. If you wanna -- for. So we do have a couple of reviews -- not -- and up because we are running out of time but if you're interested in the Samsung -- or a busy T war. Ads that are -- for US cellular in the work for its mobile and you can go to CNET and check them out in the meantime we do have a voice mail. Yes this one comes in from a listener in Canada I couldn't quite get his -- he said it really fast but. He has some information on the galaxy nexus release in Canada. I dialed in listeners and about it yet crew as it records -- silently. Instantly connect from us and Canada -- -- actually brought an excellent color and I would a couple of quick on the -- number on at last -- Podcast that there are reader question regarding panic out creator clips and answer whether or not there would be any carrier -- where -- -- -- and controlled. I'm -- -- -- know about how it might work in the west -- -- just the ticket what you don't know how well in Canada right now. I'm right now -- educators and Canada are offering counselor was not urgent personal about. And down on both the networks and devices come factory unlocked with no carrier branding and okay and no carrier globally -- Content -- can prevent right now how I want the value that we're -- right now -- just purchased that banks to tackle -- and -- look like AT everyone. -- thinks cresting through leaving a voicemail. We always -- tweet that sent -- -- -- voicemails and thanks speedily hear your voices as well. And -- yeah that's interesting I mean carrier blow -- is Ali is. Something to think about most of the fans here in the US at least come preloaded with one of apps -- On what other journalists counted anything found that the minimum it's like ten like between ten and when he apps preloaded on -- phone. For today galaxy nexus on Verizon are really only a couple apps like. Under five. And I understand why -- carriers would you guys -- I -- your nearest they just haven't chokehold -- them.
