About this and what exactly -- DOJ is decision means for it they eighteen team mobile merger and what the obstacles will be going forward. Now -- it's just it's -- -- story story this does not mean that emerges to run instead it can still go ahead it's certainly a big road block and it certainly looks. Less likely than it did last week. But what this decision means the Department of Justice has filed a lawsuit against it so AT&T. -- really is -- the power to say oh we approved we don't approve but they can say we're gonna file lawsuit against -- so what they can do -- if that dominant. Eighteen T a couple options are Dayton accord which they say they're going to do and if they prevail in courts. Then they can move it had. Course facility at the FCC's. -- input but that's another matter. They could change the terms of the the -- to terms in -- merger which is unlikely. If they lose the lawsuit they can always appeal. Aren't they if there was a lawsuit they appeal in Munich so it could go the way of this is happening but this is just a big growth market -- -- -- Now why is an unlikely that they won't change the terms of their offer. It's unlikely because AT&T wants all of T-Mobile -- don't wanna part of that they don't want you know half of their customers -- some other spectrum they want all of it. And eventually would have to divest some of that when I that's that's -- the FCC gets involved FCC just approved the transfer the licenses its release. There really -- power here. -- but they just want the whole thing I don't wanna just buy part of it and keep going so it's unlikely that -- -- change. Biggest issue here is that. That the issue that the FCC will have well actually in the day this is that the issues that the did -- justice also mentioned to just. The things we've heard a long long time and actually sprint is -- a lot of -- -- -- -- and -- significant day yesterday. It's just that. It it would lead to less and less competition and less innovation in devices mark retardation. Or consolidation and spectrum and assigned as they also -- say they -- -- Said T-Mobile was. Ports and force -- rumors news again. A momentous force or something like that in -- wireless base -- -- But. -- may indicated it may seem well they have the first T-Mobile and at the G1 the first Android phone. They have this high speed network which -- That -- Department of Justice recommends that AT&T mobile has been a big player which is one of AT&T'S arguments T-Mobile hasn't really mattered much. And one thing that we shouldn't forget is that. T-Mobile or at least you know. T-Mobile international parents want to sell T-Mobile TAT and T you want to merge but it's not like T -- getting swallowed up at that they have a lot to gain as well. And clearly they weren't doing as well in the U massive if they eat or shop themselves around or entertained an offer from AT&T. So. This is very interesting yeah and I think my big question is what happens if this -- In those -- my question too little help -- the team well AT&T will kind of her alarm is that has been doing and -- it loses a ton of money cracked yet again to get bigger question is T-Mobile me to this list because Deutsche Telekom team models owners are you know parent company. There they can't seem like they're done with things they want anonymity to get out and it. And they. You know this this would have been -- goods exit strategy for them because they're getting a lot of money and they can despite their hands clean and they can walk away. But now that this if this happens to fail in another piece Maggie Reardon -- laid out. Some of the scenarios that could happen. And CO they could it just would lead to -- it would lead to restore common objects women -- -- -- -- spectrum or they could partner with someone who needs the resources. Or they could just you know maybe piece of the company and so on from there a lot of ways signal around so if your T-Mobile customer your pleased by this news -- you should be I'm. This isn't -- this is an homer and -- though it's not like this means it's gonna be okay. Right because it seems to me it's almost guaranteed that. Even if it doesn't go through T-Mobile is not operate the way that it has -- there also -- changes and it may not be suit customers' benefit. So even though we've been looking at. You know what what does it mean if AT&T -- to the T-Mobile customer. I think -- equally important question is what does it means the T-Mobile customer if the buyout fails. AT&T would -- them if if the deal.
