-You put your right foot out, you put your right foot in and you shake it all-- hey guys, welcome to Tap That App.
I'm Brian Tong and this is the show where we cover the hottest apps in the mobile space.
Now this week, we're featuring Cut the Rope because it became the first iOS game ever to take home the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Award for Best Handheld Game, beating all Nintendo DS and PSP entries, and it did the same at this year's Game Developers Choice Awards.
Now, in the story, you've received a package
with a green creature named Om Nom who loves candy.
The game is a combination of realistic physics, problem solving, and simple controls that even my 2-year-old nephew can handle.
The goal is to collect as many stars to advance, get the candy to Om Nom, and each level has different tools or obstacles that you can use to your advantage.
Cut ropes, pop bubbles, avoid spiders, and shoot the candy in the air with this amazing fart sound.
Now, Cut the Rope looks great.
It really uses your noggin and levels are constantly being added.
Get this app because it's received critical acclaim and legitimate awards--
something that even Angry Birds can't claim.
It's $0.99 for the iPhone or iPod Touch version, and $1.99 for the iPad version.
"Cut the Rope" for Android was previewed early in March and we're waiting for an official release date.
Now, if you guys have any other apps or dance moves you like to see, send this along in e-mail to tapthatapp@cnet.com.

Thanks for watching and we'll see you guys next week.
You do the Hokey-Pokey and you turn yourself around.
