If you have a Switch, you know the problem.
You pick up your Switch controller, you're like I wanna play Overcooked, I wanna play [UNKNOWN], I wanna play Mario Kart or whatever.
and you pick up your switch controller and it's like out of battery and you get really angry and you throw things at the TV.
That's what I do anyway.
This thing is kind of a solution to that.
it's like it charges through the air.
Which is insane.
Because normally when you're charging a Nintendo Switch controller, you have to plug it into the switch.
Then you have to take the switch and put it into the dock, and you can't actually play the game because it's charging in the dock.
It's wild, man.
So this thing allows you to play while it's charging, which is kind of a first.
The way it works is wizardry, I guess.
It charges through this thing, which sends an RF signal to this thing, which is actually inside this thing.
And it charges a battery in here, which then charges the Joy-Cons themselves.
So that means not only is it charging as you play, but you can play as it charges.
Which, to be honest, I'm losing my mind over this because the Nintendo Switch controller thing has been killing me since I got it, even though I love the console.
The range is.

[LAUGH] So I don't know about you, I don't know how close your Switch is to your TV, but that's pretty decent, there.
So yeah, I'm super excited about this.
I'm losing my mind, actually.
So I guess the thing that makes this possible is the Powerspot.
They're calling it wireless charging grips.
Which is kind of disappointing, I feel like it needs a sexier name.
Come on guys.
Yeah, and it started the third quarter this year.
And yes, in Canada, hopefully coming to Australia, where I live, because I need one right now please.
