Bready or not, you can afford your own personal bread machine.
The Wilkinson Baking Company based in Washington state made a fully automated bread machine for grocery retailers.
The stand alone [UNKNOWN] includes a multi-step process that starts with mixing the [UNKNOWN] mix, yeast, and water together.
Retailers or bakeries can pour in their own proprietary recipe mix, and the machine will be able to measure out the ingredients precisely.
After the mixture finishes mixing and kneading, it then moves on to proof.
When the bread finishes proofing, the baking begins.
This first step begins in a high-humidity chamber, and then you could see the bread begin to rise.
This machine in particular maxes out at 395 degrees fahrenheit.
When the bread finishes baking, it then goes in to the cooling chamber.
This is where customers can view the bread they want and purchase it using the touch screen on the side.
After choosing the loaf, the arm will fetch it and then the bread can be bagged.
Although there is no official pricing yet, company reps estimate that the machine will cost retailers about $100,000 over a five-year lease.
Right now, Wilkinson is also working with a company in Berlin to develop a sourdough version of this machine.
