Bosch's connected appliances are coming to the US

[MUSIC] Bosch will bring its connected coffee maker, refrigerator, oven, dish washer and washer dryer to the US beginning this year. It's pretty cool how these all connect to Bosch's Home Connect app. You can control different Functions such as preheating your oven, setting your washer or dryer, and even starting your coffeemaker right from your app. Now these appliances aren't gonna come cheap. Bosch has already released its connected coffeemaker, and it's priced at $3,100. The other appliances Don't have prices quite yet, but we'll find out more throughout the year as they're launched. Bosch also announced that it will work with other smart home platforms with it's connected appliances. For example, the coffee maker and oven will be voice activated thanks To Alexa. So you can say, Alexa, call homeconnect to make me a cup of coffee. The oven will also work with the Nest thermostat. So if the thermostat detects that you're not home but the oven's on, it will automatically turn off your oven and send you an alert.
