In Avengers: Age of Ultron, Iron Man Tony Stark builds the artificial intelligence Ultron to guarantee peace, only for the newly formed AI to decide it'd rather wipe out the entire human race instead.

Queue Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Incredible Hulk, and a vast cast of their Marvel mates doing what they do best.

The sound and visual dialed up to 11 the whole way.
Director Joss Whedon anchors his assault on the senses with moments of human drama and plenty of jokes, but with so many characters and so much accelerating action, there's almost too much going on.
Ideas about drones, artificial intelligence, and the misuse of technology fly past too fast to digest.
Meanwhile Ultron is a charismatic villan, at least so menacing that a CGI robot can be.
Well, these are small quibbles from a movie that doesn't do small.
From it's writer's one shot opening scene to it's next level epic conclusion, Avengers Age of Ultron ups the ante on cinematic spectacle.
