Of all the cars to send on a 10,000-mile rally, a Nissan Leaf probably is the last one that comes to mind.
Yet, that's exactly what one EV advocate is doing.
He outfitted his Leaf for the Mongol Rally, a trek from the UK all the way to Mongolia.
Its electic drive terrain is untouched, but the car's been reinforced for off-road duty And the rear seats have been removed to save weight.
Let's just hope the driver has a light foot because EV chargers will be harder to find as he travels further east.
It's almost time for a renewed competitor to enter the minivan segment.
Honda has started production of it's 2018 Odyssey at it's Alabama facility which also builds the Pilot, Ridgeline and Acura MDX.
The Odyssey was designed and developed in the US and features updated cabin tech and improved refinement The 280 horsepower family hauler should be at dealers soon.
Mercedes-Benz has issued a voluntary recall for just 411 examples of its 2016 and 2017 model year E300 luxury sedans.
According to the auto maker a misstep during assembly left some roof-mounted spoilers poorly attached.
If the wind starts making its way under the spoiler, the body work can become detached from the vehicle entirely, which could be problematic for any number of reasons.
Mercedes plans to fix the issue by, you guessed it, properly attaching the spoiler.
