AutoComplete: BMW pulls the wraps off the new 3 Series in Paris
Here's what making news on Road Show.
A while ago, our man, Steven Ewing, went to Germany to drive a camouflage version of the new three series.
And when he got back, he had some good things to say about how well it performed.
Well, now that BMW pulled the wraps off the G20 series in Paris.
We kind of get what he was talking about.
It's good looking.
And while we're bummed it won't be available with a manual transmission for the first time ever, we're still looking forward to getting some seat time.
Remember that scene in Independence Day when the government tries to talk to the aliens with the flashing lights on a helicopter, and then it gets blown up?
Yeah, apparently Ford remembers that too, becuase that's exactly what it's proposing.
Is a means of allowing autonomous cars to signal their intentions to pedestrians and other cars.
Hopefully it works better for the blue oval than it did for the helicopter.
Mazda is, in car company terms, pretty small.
This means that developing things like electric vehicles and hybrid tech are prohibitively expensive for them.
But despite that, Mazda has committed to 5% of its sales being electric by 2030.
That's cool and all, but the best part of it's electrification plans is the return of the rotary engine as a range extender for EVs.
But that must be right around the corner from seeing a new RX model right?
Right?
