Apple TV's Siri vs Amazon Fire TV, Roku 3 and Nexus Player
Show that modern family episode with Edward Norton.
Siri is finally coming to the apple TV but its not the only set top box that is capable of doing voice commands.
We want to see how the competition stacks up.
We've got the Amazon Fire TV, the Roku 3, and Google's Nexus Player, and we're gonna see how well they can handle Apple's commands.
The first command we're gonna test, how did the San Francisco Giants do yesterday?
The next command.
What's the weather in Juneau, Alaska?
Next up, show me some action movies.
Lastly, who stars in this?
As you can see, all 3 of these boxes had problems with Apple's commands But also Apple's was under a controlled environment, and we didn't test it ourselves.
So we're not exactly sure how well it will hold up in real world usage.
Once we get the Apple TV in our labs, we're gonna test it out to see how well it holds up.
