Apple preorders open today, Google teases future Pixels

Several new Apple products are available for preorder.
First up, the new iPhone 8 and 8 Plus can be ordered now.
Apple's newest watch, the Series 3, is also up at Apple's site.
The Series 3 offers the option of a cellular connection.
The new Apple TV 4K with, you guessed it, 4K video support, is also up for preorder.
All of these devices will first ship on September 22.
The Apple iPhone 10 will not be available to preorder until late October, with a ship date of November 3rd.
Google released a couple of teasers for an event to be held on October 4th.
One announcement is found at madeby.google.com /askmore.
That says thinking about changing phones.

Google also polished a 35 second video between searches related to smartphones.
Last year on October 4th, Google unveiled it's first brand of phones the Google Pixel and the Pixel XL.
The teasers almost certainly point to new phones this October.
Elon Musk tweeted that an all electric Tesla semi truck will be unveiled on October 26.
And the tweet must say it's worth seeing this beast in person.
It's unreal.
The reveal and test drive will occur in Hawthorne, California which puts it at the Space X Facility where Tesla has previously held events.
The United State Federal Trade Commission said it is investigating the Equifax breach that may have affected up to 143 million US customers.
The FTC is also warning consumers of potential phone scams where people pose as Equifax employees.
The FTC says do not give any personal information over the phone.
Do not trust caller ID and hang up if you receive a robo call.
