Apple Music brings together music and the artists that create it
[MUSIC]
Hey guys.
I'm Sarah Mitroff with C-net and today we're taking a first look at Apple Music.
Apple Music is a mix of on-demand streaming music, radio, and social media.
There are personal and human touches everywhere from recommended music suited to your tastes to handpicked playlist curated my music editors.
The For You tab has recommended playlists and albums, and it changes frequently as you listen to more music.
The New section has brand new albums, playlists, and music videos, plus groups of playlists for any activity or mood.
Radio is a big deal in Apple Music.
There's a live, 24/7 radio station broadcasting from Los Angeles, New York, and London
[MUSIC]
Called Beats One, that plays hot new music, and will have exclusive interviews with music experts.
You can also play on demand radio stations based on artists and genres.
There are several already available in the app, like pure pop and sound systems.
And you can create your own.
The connect section acts as a social media feed, showing updates from the artists you follow.
You can comment on these posts, which include videos, photos, music and text.
Finally, the My Music section is home to music you purchase from iTunes that you can stream in the app.
Apple Music costs $9.99 per month and comes with a free three month trial.
There's also a family plan for $14.99 per month for up to six people to share.
There's a lot more to unpack an Apple music.
For even more information head over to CNET.com for my full review.
I'm Sarah Mitroff, thanks for watching.
