Rumors are swirling that Apple is in talks to buy Tidal.
The music streaming service co-owned by some of the biggest names in music, and headed up by rapper Jay-Z.
Jay-Z bought the service from Swedish company Aspero, in 2015 for a cool $56 million It currently has three million subscribers.
Compare that to Apple Music's fifteen million, and Spotify's thirty million premium subscribers.
Total has tried to win over more customers by offering high fidelity music streaming And exclusives to artists like Daft Punk and the late Prince.
Kanye even promised a title exclusive with his latest album Life of Pablo, saying it would, never, never, never be available on Apple, before releasing it widely on iTunes, Spotify, and other services.
If the rumors are true, it could be Apple's second major acquisition for Apple Music.
After the company acquired beat electronics in 2014 for $3 billion.
