Apple iPhone sales break records, Amazon invests in air delivery

Apple has sold more iPhones than ever before, 78.3 million to be exact, which just edges out the projected sales for the quarter.
The number also snaps a three-quarter in a row streak of declining iPhone sales.
While the iPhone is doing well, the iPad is not.
This is the 12th straight quarter of faltering tablet sales, which saw the iPad dropped to 13.1 million from 16.1 million, just a year ago.
Walmart has dropped it's subscription model, and opted to offer two day shipping on items that exceed $35 in total.
It's the company's latest attempt in taking away some of the momentum from Amazon prime which is $99 per a year but also comes with various Amazon services as well.

And speaking of Amazon Prime, the company has made a $1.49 billion investment in air deliveries capabilities.
Aimed at creating its first worldwide air cargo hub at the Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport.
Amazon says the move will change the way the company ships items to customers.
May eventually lead to competition with UPS and FedEx altogether.
