These are the top 5 rumors about the next i{hone.
We're getting closer to Apple's newest iPhone lineup, so there are tons of reports everywhere.
We're going to rank the rumors from most likely to least likely to happen.
At number five there will be three models introduced in 2019.
Well that's pretty much a given.
Last year we got the iPhone 10R,10S, and the 10S max.
This year were almost guaranteed to get updates to each of the three.
A sequel to the 10R makes plenty of sense.
So applicants say the iPhone starts at just $749 For Apple to kill off one of the three is outright insane.
Now, will the three models come in LTE and 5G variance this year?
That is seriously unlikely.
Apple will probably stick to 4G, while the company figures out 5G after its purchase of Intel Smartphone-Modem Business At number four is the square camera bump.
I want to believe Apple will not go with a big fast camera bump.
I wanted to believe that in the past two, I know this sounds crazy.
Do you remember when phones did not have camera bumps?
The cameras would sit flash with the back of the device.
You could place your phone on a flat surface, and it wouldn't teeter on the camera?
Well, those days are gone.
The bump is here to stay.
The rumors say we're getting a square bump to house the camera assembly with flash.
This is likely happening.
It also would explain why Google showed off the rear of the Pixel 4 early.
it was to avoid arguments that Google copied Apple's ugly design.
Coming in at number 3 is reverse wireless charging.
A number of phones already have this fun feature.
It allows you to charge another device from your phone wirelessly.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 and Note 10 support this feature.
It seems natural that reverse wireless charging would come to the iPhone, Charge your AirPods or Apple Watch right from your iPhone.
I'm curious if the air power experiment has made Apple a tiny bit skittish.
I'm putting reverse wireless charging on its...
Most popular product.
And number two is Pencil Support.
City research said it expects to see pencil support in the iPhones this year.
As many of you know, I've been using a galaxy note for a couple of years.
I'm all for pencil support.
If Apple has cramped pencil support into the cheapest iPads Think Apple could technically do it.
This report has not been widely spread.
So I'm not sure if it's coming this year, if ever.
To number one, the iPhones are getting a new naming convention.
For some time now Apple phones have followed a standard naming method.
It's called the iPhone followed by a number.
The next years model is iPhone with a number with a S. Then we had some odd ones with a G, with a SE and Plus and R and a Max.
Those last two were just introduced last year.
A tweet by CoinX says iPhone may gain a pro suffix.
At CoinX correctly tweeted the names of the XR, Xs, and Xs Max last year, so this gives some weight to the Pro name.
Now which one would be the Pro?
The name may be related to the iPhone with three weird cameras, but nothing is really clear.
One case maker says the iPhone 11 would be the follow-up to the XR.
The 11 Pro would be the XS successor, the XS Max would be followed by the iPhone 11 Pro Max, that sound brilliant.
Adding in a Pro version after just introducing the Max, Seems very strange.
The 11 replacing the 10R is just crazy.
I don't know if Pro is happening this year.
