When will the HomePod be released?
There's no place like home.
Even Siri hasn't heard the news yet.
The HomePod is being delayed until early 2018.
It'll say simple things like.
Apple's Smart Speaker was first announced at WWDC in June this year and originally slated for release in December.
In a statement, Apple said that it needed quote, a little more time before it's ready for our customers.
Shipping will start in the US, UK, and Australia in early 2018.
The delay means Apple will miss out on sales of the $349 sticker during the holiday shopping season.
And the HomePod faces still competition from other high-end speakers, like the Amazon Echo Plus, Google Home Max, and Sonos One.
This isn't the first time that Apple's delayed a long awaited product.
