Angry Birds slingshots into space
Hello.
Welcome to Tap that App.
I'm Jason Parker.
And this is the show we've talked about the hottest apps in mobile space.
Just about everyone who has a Smartphone knows about Rovio Angry birds.
The game you sling shot birds to destroy structures and try to take the (??) picks.
The game has enjoyed huge success with the iTunes app stores sitting in the top ten of the paid apps category.
Ever since it's launched 2009.
Today Rovio released Angry Birds space.
Again it takes the same winning concept but adds interesting twist with gravity fields, asteroids a new birds to experiment with in an entirely out of space environment.
The game starts off easy so you can get used to the new concept to gravity fields.
Now when you fire up bird towards the planet or asteroid, the bird will go into orbit around the object within the gravity field.
Sometimes giving you several chances to hit your targets.
As you progressed through the game the levels gets significantly more difficult with multiple gravity fields, asteroids that block your path and other interesting objects and obstacles that requires some thought before you (??) your bird.
There are 60 levels to place with and similar definitely have you heading the reset button numerous times to get that perfect shot.
Unfortunately a particularly difficult levels you have the option to use the new space eagle.
The ultra powerful Eagle in the original Angry Bird's games is pretty much meant you could beat any level but this new space eagle creates a black hole once you tap the screen and has the explosive power to take it at a large area of the level.
It's still possible to mess some picks up depending on where you place the space eagle.
Just like the original Angry Birds you can get up to three stars based on how efficiently you can take out all the (pigs?).
So it's still important to try to get them on one shot.
Another new edition comes in the form of bonus levels that are not the classic video games hitting randomly placed hidden golden eggsteroid causes a worm hole that sends you to a special level.
The level uncut it seems to resemble classic super mario games.
Once cleared you'll take the worm hole right back to where you left off.
It's important to note that unlike spin offs Angry Birds Rio and Angry Birds seasons well fun.
And mostly about putting a new themes in some extra levels on the original.
Angry Bird Space is a completely new game with new birds, new levels to figure out and some secret levels you can work to.
It's easy to recommend everyone tap this app immediately.
Angry Bird Space goes for 99 cents for the phone version on both iOS and Android and 2.99 for the HT version on both as well.
That's it for today show.
If you got any suggestions you'd like me to try send them to my Twitter account at jparkerscnet.
I'm Jason Parker.
Thanks for watching.
