This is CNet and hear the stories that matter right now.
The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Amazon will be officially announcing a new Amazon Echo as early as this week, confirming what many have been suspecting for months.
The new Echo will sport a seven-inch screen to allow for video calling and likely to sell for more than $200.
The new Echo will perform most of the same tasks of the just-debuted Echo Look, but remain the flagship device for the company.
Comcast will release a new line of products aimed at customers who want a wi-fi mesh experience that evenly covers their home with broadband.
Later in the year, the company will offer plugin pods that were designed with mesh experts [UNKNOWN].
Wifi Mesh has exploded in popularity with offerings from Google and Era.
And finally Instagram users can now upload photos directly from a desktop web browser thanks to a Workaround.
The service made some changes for mobile browsers, but by doing so, also opens up the potential for desktop access as well.
