Amazon Prime Day on July 11: Before you shop, know this
Prime day Amazon's world wide sale returns July 11th.
Amazon made up the shopping holiday in 2015 and boy do people like spending money when they feel like they're saving money.
On prime day last year, Amazon broke its single day's sales record and this year, it is expanding to more countries including Mexico, China, and India.
So what can you expect?
Hundreds of thousands of items on sale, and most are just junk, like this jumbo wine glass that holds a whole bottle of wine, or a toilet night light, which could come in handy if you buy that jumbo wine glass.
Items may say they are marked down but, it could have been always discounted.
So do your homework before your shopping spree.
The deals are only for Amazon prime members.
And that membership normally cost about a $100 dollars a year in the U.S. or about 80 pounds a year in the U.K. The sale starts at 6PM pacific, 9PM eastern on July 10th.
But perhaps Amazon users will find the presales more enticing.
Some hourly sales are not on things but discounts for signing up to other Amazon services.
Like Amazon music unlimited and Kindle unlimited.
